Hi all,

Since my DS was born in April my my mum, my dad and dmil have all been fantastic. He was their 1st grandchild and they love him to death.

So I want to get them something really lovely from him for christmas but im a bit confused with everything google presented me with.

I like the idea of a storybook with his photos or something similar. Dmil hinted at having a nice calendar but I think i could make that on a machine at boots.

So ladies, what do you suggest.

TIA.

A digital photo frame and a memory stick loaded with photos of the family. You can pick them up quite reasonably these days.

Then you can add more photos as DS grows up.

My folks love theirs!!

Thank you for that,

I really like the idea of a digital photo frame.

Bumping this to see if there are any other ideas

I have done calendars of the children for the grandparents through snapfish (though sure many companies do them). You can choose from various layouts & also can add add writing on particular days & drop in photos on various days too - which I used to include everyone's bdays & put pics of the children on their birthday. Also waited until they offered a discount on them which is around now I think

We did just a present, but also gave my folks my Dd's first ever drawing - well okay it was a scribble, but we put it in a mouse mat with an inscription and hand prints. My mum loved it because it was a one off moment that could never be replaced. Your lo might be bit young to scribble, but it is worth a try! And you can do all sorts with it - mugs etc etc
