She usually just picks out something small (one year I was the lucky recipient of a paw patrol vehicle). This year we walk into Debenhams and she announces ‘I want to get Daddy a jumper’ I say ok but am slightly worried she’ll pick out the most colourful jumper in the shop. We walk around for a little while with her looking at everything until she announces ‘this one is perfect’.

She had picked out a v-neck black jumper. It’s actually perfect - exactly the style he wears. It’s also €75! But it’s perfect so I got it.

I was just impressed she actually thought about what he’d like over what she likes!!

She’s done really well! My 3 year old told me last week that her Daddy would like 3 dogs - ‘one for all of us, Mummy!’ - we already have 2 cats but she says they would be friends. And yesterday she said he’d like cake (he hates sweet things and will usually ‘share’ with her). Still very selfish...

That’s so funny! Daddy got Star Wars Slippers last year. I just asked dd and she said he would like a monster truck.

I have to say I did Blush It was very sweet because ds apparently said that “Mummy loves building Lego with me she would like her own!” We had fun building it together and Rey’s Speeder has pride of place on my bedside table Grin
