Ideas for Christmas Eve box?

Sorry if this is something that has been asked way too often, but I've only just discovered there's a Christmas section on mumsnet so I havnt seen them!

So I'm thinking of doing a Christmas Eve box this year after spotting the idea on here (never heard of it before), we have a DS 2 and a 14year old teen girl (we're her legal guardians) so does anyone have any ideas what we can put in other than pajamas to appeal to them both?

We don't have a DVD player as we always watch films on Netflix. Thinking of stuff for the DS is easy but it's making it fun for a teen too that I'm struggling to be creative with!

Any tips are greatly appreciated Smile

Dd's are 3 and 9. We always do pjs slippers if thy need new ones, a magic flannel, xmasy book, small choc, xmas cup (sometimes) and a little toy (shopkins, toy car etc) I fill the box with shiny shredded paper or tinsel to bulk it out.

We've been doing them for about 6 years and the kids still get really excited about them.

For the 14yo I would do pjs, face mask, bath bomb, hair mask, nail polish, chocolates, cosy socks.

My teenage dcs boxes contain everything they have on Christmas Eve.

New pajamas
Cosy slipper socks
Lynx bath set for boys
Lush stuff for dd
Christmas Chocolate
Popcorn with those plastic popcorn tubs (they come out every Christmas)
Something to drink- last year I put in a bottle of Koppeburg, ds (14) was in his element Grin
Hot chocolate with marshmallows and squirty cream (in the fridge)

It's all stuff we have anyway or they would get on Christmas morning, and they don't use/eat half of it but they feel like they're getting something special because it's wrapped up in a box.

Ah some great suggestions here thanks everyone! It's only our second Christmas together so want to make it special. (Well DS was 12 weeks old at the Christmas before that but we were teen-less then)
