Help me find 'thing' present ideas for dc please aged 1, 4, 6

My FIL wants me to send him a present list for all three of my kids. He likes to have lots of ideas to chose from and he is totally inconsistent over how much he spends, so I like to include things at all price ranges, from as low as a tenner to as high as £60-70.

Anyway whilst I would love him to get their swimming lessons or book tokens etc, he likes to get things - a things that are for them rather than clothes etc. He also likes to be able to order them online.

Any help please. All three have winter birthdays so he wants suggestions for birthdays and christmas. DD is about to turn 6. DSs are about to turn 4 and 1.

They have every toy and thing they could ever need.

I have thought about:

A really good set of pens and crayons etc for dd so we can throw away our motley collection of old ones and start again - I had a fab kit of about 100 colouring pens all with different names for colours i had never heard of when I was a kid and loved it.

A character duvet set each - DS1 would like a paw patrol one and DD would probably like some kind of character one.

Some brio for DS2 because he already shows an interest in the brio train set we have so even though he is 1 and will have every toy imaginable it means he would have something to open that he will eventually play with.

In terms of what they like (but honestly we have so much stuff!!) DD likes dollies and make-up and craft and all things girlie much to my shame. DS1 likes lego and cars and soldiers and all things boyish also much to my shame. DS2 I have no idea because he is nearly 1.

Thank you for all suggestions!

Lego? At least they would all get use out of it.
Asda do great cars that spin around. Two for 14 pound at the moment.
Dinosaurs for youngest.

Amazon has a nice set called tap tap art that would go down well.

The orchard game shopping list is a winner

We have so much Lego sometimes I think about selling bits off on eBay without ds and dh noticing (but dh would divorce me if he found out!). And we have Shopping lIst. Other ideas great though - please keep them coming. No doubt my parents will ask for ideas too.

Playmobil sets range in price and all kids love them. My nearly 2 year old plays with the bigger bits like the animals and my 6 year old likes setting up the farms/houses and playing with all the little bits :)

Hexbugs
Remote control monster truck for 4 year old (recommend maisto rock crawler jr)
Dressing up?
Anything for outdoors eg. trampoline, swings
Playdoh
Hot wheels car tracks
Recommend mobilo (look on amazon) for 4 year old
Definitely go for brio type track for 1 year old, loads of really nice bits, battery powered engines etc.

I thought you were referring to "Thing" Adams family, thought what an unusual present and taste your ds has.

Could you get the 6 year old to write her own list? Amazon do a wish list thing online that you could set up for her and then they click on anything they would like and it moves it onto the list. You then email the list to Fil.

Obviously you'll have to edit the lists, children do tend to get carried away!

I think you ideas are great. I would just limit the list for Fil to a couple of choices. It's too difficult otherwise, especially if there are other family members.

Another idea might be for him to buy a present for them all to share, trampoline, rocking horse or playhouse?

Shopkins or the new Grossery Gang
Fairy pop up book
Christmas theme smellies from Lush (some in their website now)
Watercolour paint set plus water colour paper pad
Djeco craft set
Aquarellum set (water colour craft set)
Maileg mouse in a box
Items to dress up as spies

(I've got a 6yr old DD)
Tokidoki Unicorno or mermicorn figures (blind boxes)

Is there anything bigger that all 3 would use -trampoline, swing set, nice wooden sandpit, nice fabric teepee etc that he could get?
I have 3 and we have had joint presents from family before, cuts down on the amount of stuff and kids get a decent present that they wouldn't get just for them.

Do your dc have bikes? My dd will be 7 at Christmas and needs a new one, ds1 is 4 and has just moved up a size and ds2 is getting a trike.

Or agree with big things like playhouse/sandpit/trampoline.

Bikes / trikes / scooters

Clothes

"Sorry" is a good game
How about Uno ? DS started playing that aged 4 so good for the 2 older ones.

How about stuff like bath crayons or coloured tablets to colour the bathwater ?

Oh and amazon do brilliant roadmaps that are like huge jigsaw puzzles so you can change the layout. We bought them for our 2 year old but the 5 year old plays with them loads
