What is with that?

I'm discreetly stockpiling for December and the last thing I want is to have stuff I've bought popping up all over the place. Not even other stuff from the same store but the exact thing I've already bought. So it has no advertisement value at all.

Ordered wrapping paper today for Santa presents because it was specific to DS' interests and from a shop we'd never normally be in. Now it's following me around and since the kids use my iPad I'll be sending it right back.

So why do they do it?
