Ideas for 6 and 9 year old boys...

Looking for ideas for my two boys aged 6, 7 two weeks after Christmas, and 9. My eldest has dyslexia and finds it quite hard to follow instructions. I'm fed up of them being sat in front of a screen to be honest and telling me that they are otherwise bored. They have boxes upon boxes of Lego, mostly broken up, don't like k'nex or meccanno, games never seem to get played with. I've bought them an air hockey table for the bargain price of £40 but just looking for some extras. Budget of £80 each. Feel I've exhausted every idea so I'm hoping someone has some good ones! They've asked for the blade builders light Sabres but they're £50 for the starter set and I know they will rarely get used...

Do they like scooters and such like. I'm looking at skate ramps and basket ball net for my ds 6 as he had the whole of toys r us (twice) and between those and a minion ride on motor bike was made up.

Playmobil is popular too
Ds hates doing lego but loves figures,
Star wars will be popular too with him

I have a 7yo DS. He doesn't like Lego really, or minecraft, which seem to be the first choices of other 7yos.

What about

Hexbugs
Art and craft like masses of colours of paper and card, glue pens, glitter pens, stickers, and the poster paint pens calls Playcolor, which my DS absolutely loves
Stamping set
Train set
Story cubes
Tablet?

I have a 9 and 6 yo boy too! My nearly 10yo wants his first proper team football kit which is costing a fortune so that's about it for him! Last year we got him some stuff for his room - a big framed film poster, wall stencils etc as it had just been decorated. It's a hard age IMO - too old for most toys but I refuse to go down the road of endless play station games. The 6 yo is easy this year as he needs a new bike. He can't get enough Lego and really likes those Hexbug skateboards.

Ds turns 9 at Christmas. Ideas based on him:

Blade builders lightsabers (but he will play with them)
Star Wars new figures
Footballs (he can never have enough)
Personalised football shirt
Snap circuits electricity set (loves this)
