Has anyone been to Santa at Legoland this year?

I know that Legoland is mostly closed, but I was wondering what exactly was open and how much time should be allowed for our visit? Children are fairly young so some things may be restricted because of height anyway.

Thank youXmas Smile

We went last weekend and had a great time. What time are you booked to see Santa? We had a 3pm booking which was great because we could stay after to see the lights properly as it got dark. We were there from about 12.30 till 5 with DS aged 6. Went on Laser Raiders about 20 times as there are no queues. The Kingdom of the pharaohs is all open, also the Dragons Apprentice and Knights Quest, and the Castaway camp play area, but they closed that as soon as it started to get dark. Also both boat rides and the spinning spider, and Star Wars mini land.

Yes we went 2 weeks ago and had a great time. DD hardly had to queue at all for rides (unlike our previous summertime visit) and Father Christmas was great. There's lots open even for quite little ones - carousel, swing ride, balloons, little roller coaster etc.

rides that were open; (I can't remember all the real names)

Spinning spider
swings
horses
areo nomad
laser raiders
scarab bouncers
jolly rocker
small pirate ship (that goes round)
fast train (one by the castle)
small dragon ride

We spent all day but reckoned we could have easily only spent 4hrs there and still did it all.

In the elf workshops you can build Lego decorations, write a letter to father xmas and decorate a snowman cookie.

We had a lovely day with no big queues Smile

I would say to allow 4 hours including time for a meal.

We went today and loved it! Arrived about 11.30 and stayed till 6pm. No queues at all for rides! We went on most at least twice. Our Santa slot was 4.15pm - definitely worth doing when it's dark or getting dark, so pretty when all lit up, magical!

Thank you for asking the question, and I'm really pleased with the answers. We are going on Monday the 22nd, never been before. We also have a santa booking for about 4.30, but will probably look to do things first and go home after seeing Santa.

Thank you. We're going at 4.15 too. Was trying to work out whether to go for that then stay for an hour, or whether to head up after lunch and make Santa one of the last things we do. I gather the star wars bit is still open so I guess we could go up for the whole day and DS would be happySmile. I'm hoping the DCs enjoy it!
