Anyone seen any paperwhite daffodil during their shopping trips?

I've been struggling for a present idea for my dad and my mum casually said "he would love some paperwhite bulbs to plant up as they're his favourites" - who knew?!

Can't find any in our local garden centre nor on Internet. Anyone seen any in any of the big chains like BHS or Marks?

Have you tried The Telegraph Garden Shop online.

SainsBurys have some in a little zinc bucket, but if it's for the garden then a garden centre should have some.

Suttons have a basket for delivery for Christmas. He could have them out and then keep the bulbs for next year.

J Parker are still showing the bulbs as available but delivery may take a while. Also the bulbs are usually forced for Christmas and it would be too late to plant for Christmas this year.

I have ordered the basket from suttons AND the bulbs from the Telegraph! He can have both so he has the pleasure of smell/flowers immediately and also a little job to get ready for the spring. Perfect
