While scrolling through general news articles on 3/12/14 I noticed various articles and surveys advising parents of which toys not to buy due to the toxins etc. found in them.
Thought might help when choosing safe toys for little ones.

As a general rule, buy toys from reputable companies rather than from markets, eBay and even Amazon who allow private sellers.

As an example, some loom bands have a kite mark as they have passed British standard and some haven't as they havent.

The kite mark, which looks like a heart with a squiggle in it is the mark to show that it has met British standards and the CE mark shows that it has met European standards.
