Christmas day this year will consist of 5 adults, dsd9 and ds3.

Ds3 plays eg the orchard games or snap etc quite well, and likes things like pop up pirate.

Thank you!

We've got a few lotto/bingo type things (Orchard games and similar) as well as varieties on Snap and The Hungry Caterpillar board game. DD is nearly 4 and we are considering Snakes & Ladders, as it's fairly straightforward. Unfortunately she's a bad loser, so I need to know that I'll be able to find all the pieces when the board is flung off the table! :)

I've just picked up Richard Scarry's Busytown game for this, reduced in the Amazon Black Friday deals. Had great reviews. Think it is on there again today so worth checking.

Labyrinth is a game that 3 year olds get and can play with a little help but is also going to be enjoyed by the older children and adults.

also pictureka (if I've spelled that right) - errs more towards being accessible for the young, less engaging for older ones.

I was looking for games for my dc to be able to play together aswell and have just bought the Richard Scarry one - it looks brilliant! Thanks for mentioning it, we've got loads of his books but didn't know the game existed.
