My DDad is doing the Coast to coast walk (northern England) next year and I'd like to get him a few bits for his trip. Beyond walking socks and Kendal mint cake, I'm stumped! Any ideas..?

Basically, just go to a cotswold shop. A sturdy water bottle might be good.

These are great, thank you! We don't have any Cotswold shops locally but I'm hoping my local Blacks will come up with some of that excellent list Smile

Anything clothing wise that can protect you from the wind! I'm no expert, just currently on holiday in Cornwall and the wind is quite terrifying and very very noisy! So maybe ear muffs?

Compeed plasters,

Naice walking socks (not red, unless he is very experienced its a thing apparently Confused)

Perhaps a walking stick - but make sure he can return it if its the wrong length.

Nice base layers (depending on season he's walking it) or sleeping bah liner, bandana, sunglasses.

"Gourmet" pouch food or trail mix stuff

Anything you get, make sure its as light weight as you can afford - I heartily resented my maglight torch for its ridiculous weight!

Bounce protein ball things. The coconut macadamia one is lush!
