I have £20 each on my two 4yos.

So, I have £20 for my DSs.

DT1 is football mad, and likes book stuff too, as he's been reading voraciously since starting school and learning how to! Especially The Magic Key Angry he also is a fan of silly stuff- he's a toilet humour fan. Anything silly like. I thought a hamper of stuff?

DT2 likes football, but not as much as his brother. He also likes silly stuff, adventure things, and, most importantly, dinosaurs and space and anything sciency. He likes books but not to the same extent as DT1, and likes drawing. He likes cuddly animals, like DT1, and plays 'school' with them. He likes playmobil.

So...what do I get them? £20 is kind of limited for an Xmas budget, I think, so j want to maximise it as much as possible. My ex's parents (my ex isn't involved in their lives, despite what his parents and I try to do, but they are lovely and help us a lot) are buying them a 'cheap' Scooter each, so I am keen not to be overshadowed in a way Hmm but I can't do anything big and don't want to outshine a scooter, just give them some special presents.

You could get some craft stuff from the works/wilko (I'm getting packs of crafty stuff and then splitting them into those zip lock freezer bags for my two girls iyswim)...pad of paper from Home Bargains about 59p? few packs of pompoms/stars/sticker sheets/googly eyes and maybe some pritt stick and glitter glue if you're brave Grin

Chocolate Santa each (Poundland have some in cellophane with choc tree decs in too)- you could take those out and use on the tree & give the dc's the santas (obv. without the kids seeing.

Dressing up bits from Pound shops? or charity shops? You could probably put together a decent shared dressing up box for maybe seven or eight quid.

I shall keep thinking Smile

oooh, is your dt1 too young for stuff like a whopee cushion/fake poo type stuff? if there's a joke shop or market near you they might be fairly cheap to pick up

Playmobil do some really little sets, you could search on amazon and then sort by price low to high?

Do you live anywhere near an Entertainer store? I have shopped online from there, this week I went into the store and there are so many bargains, good names too, Craft stuff, science kits, games, playmobil, all really good prices.

Cuddly animals...
Poundland had some nice looking bears in last Tuesday when I went in. Didn't stop to look at them as I didn't have my girls with me so no idea of quality but they looked alright & dd2 has a bear from there that she's had since being tiny & it's still going strong

Have you tried Lidls? They had lots of different toys in my local store yesterday. There was a pop Wendy house type thing which you could then colour in yourself? And farm sets, cuddly toys and art sets.
