Child foot spa with beads??

Dd1 (8 nearly 9) has seen ad advert for a foot massager with beads?! It must have been on citv, so am assuming it is for children. I can't find one anywhere online - only get adult ones.

I'm sure it will be terrible and I'll have to show her the bad reviews as I did last year with the chocolate coin maker and lockable electronic diary

Anyone know what she is talking about?

Perhaps an adult one would be better.

SD had this for her birthday, she uses it quite frequently but the beads do fall apart relatively easily. She does love it though and wants the lamp for christmas. £7 ish for refills of the beads which is abit much i think.

So you put your feet in it and the gel balls move around a bit do they? Have you had a go ? is it relaxing? She really wants it.

Her birthday is in January so perhaps I'll keep it as an idea for then. She always has cold feet so I wondered if an adult one with warm water would be better.

yep it involves some slotting together and putting batteries in and then the beads drop down through the bowls over your feet. it comes with some little perfume bottles to go in, scent is jasmine possibly but dont hold me to it. the bowls detatch so it can be used to soak fingers in ect. the only thing i dont like is if its left and not put away in zip lock bag (comes with) the beads fall apart quite easily but thats due to sd not putting it away properly!

cant you resoak the beads to fill them up again though? I was looking more at the mood lamp tbh as I can see the foot spa beads getting everywhere and annoying me.

if they get too mushy they can fall apart, but if their looked after properly they shouldnt. ive just ordered the mood lamp although i dont quite see how it works!
