I've collected a lot of jars and decided I want to do something with them, jams/chutneys?

Has anyone got some simple cheap recipes I could try? I've never done anything like this before!

I made red onion relish the other year. Chopped red onions into very thin bits, fried very very gently until soft, then threw over some balsamic vinegar and cooked some more until it reduced down.

Have you seen cookies in a jar before? You can brownies or other recipes too, fab gift for people with kids.

Thank you, will look at the links, red onion relish is right up our street and I have both of the ingredients kicking about.

Anyone got any ideas for tomatoes?
