I know it is all on-line but I like to paw leaf through the physical catalogue (rather than virtual) with my pen in hand. Aaaahh.

I need both!! Now!

Last year, we had a temporary Hawkins bizarre in my nearest town and I loved it but it was gone by the new year. I hope they come back again this year.

I live about 10 miles from Cardiff but only go there about once every two months max. I took ds on Sunday, who is normally a reluctant shopper but was on top form last weekend. He quite happily came into every shop that I suggested as long as I took him to 'game'. His tactic, which is quite clever, is to talk constantly about absolutely anything and everything so that I end up so exhausted from listening/answering every single question that I give up on the shopping trip and come home empty handed apart from clothes for him and two ps2 games Hmm.

Anyway, the point to my long and boring story is that I love Lakeland but it's so much easier to flick through their catalogue than to go to the actual shop with my ds!

They stopped sending me the catalogue a couple of years after I stopped ordering (but only because we have a store nearby). Agree it's sad lovely to have a catalogue to flick through!! Anything new and amazing in there?

you can flick through it virtually on the website. And you can ask them to post you a copy too I think

My copy of the Lakeland catalogue arrived this afternoon - I squealed with delight when I saw it on the doormat Blush.

I have already been through the Christmas one and have a mental list but daren't put it on paper just yet...although, I'm going to be very near the shop on Saturday so could go and purchase twenty one or two items off my mental list...Grin

I never order because of the lovely new store in my town but they still send me lovely shiny catalogues. Love it, cup of tea, pen, biscuits and imaginary bank card.

Envy I'm off to Bluewater later, will have to collect my own Lakeland Catalogue, it's not Christmas until you've been weighed down with the Hawkins, Boots & Supermarket catalogues!
