Christmas Crackers- how much do you spend?

I usually buy the M&S (when there's a 3 for 2 offer) to match with the table setting.

Costco have got Tom Smith crackers in stock ( didn't check the price) but is it worth spending the extra money.
Most of them have a feeble pfft rather than a snap.

DC are 11.6 and 9 and if we buy 12 we have one each 24/25/26 Dec.

Should I make the investment? Will my riff-raff offspring appreciate it?

We have had Tom Smith and not found them to be worth the money.
Stick with M&SSmile

I could do those fill your own cracker kits, as long as they have got a decent snap.

Then I can put what I want in (DH would like the mini spirit idea)

I would have to find a way to snazzy them up. My table is white/silver.

Debenhams had some good ones last year and i got them at 50% off too!

Well, actually that was the only reason i bought them 'cos full price was stupidly ££££

Not sure how much they are, but after years of dedicated cracker testing I can report that the best crackers (IMO) are the Oxfam crackers.

We make our own, with the kit things. DH does like ramp up the firepower though, four snaps a cracker?

I stocked up in the sales so have enough for the next couple of years, M&S, BHS and Debenhams all sell their crackers off very cheaply after Christmas and I didnt pay more than £2 for 12.
