stylish but cheapish gift

I need a present that costs less than £30 that is nice and luxurious for my mum,have already done photo gifts and magazine subscriptions etc in past.likes history, archeology, she is in her mid fifties and quite young and trendy, help please!

Could you get her tickets to an exhibition at, say, the British Museum or Royal Academy p,us a guide for the exhibition?

just suggested this on another thread, but this is a bargain, IMO.

this site also has some fabulous contemporary stuff, don't know if that her bag.

What about an ipod with the British Museum 100 objects downloaded on to it and the book to go with, so she can go and mooch around and have a 'me day'. I saw the book on the Book People web site.

How about some shower gel or body cream to match her favourite perfume?

Or some Clarins 'Eau Dynamisante' spray or shower wash. There is a gift set here

love the candelabra but it wont look right in her house,(may buy it for me though).Will have a look at british museum book, could be a day out for the 2 of us.Thanks for ideas.
