Anyone have any advice about a robust, easy to use helicopter for my 7 year old DN?
My budget is only about £20.
Does this look any good?

I did a bit of research on these a while back and came to the concluson they were all a bit crap. Biggest problem seems to be long charging times for only a few minutes of flying. But hopefully someone else will come along with a recommendation.

I got this a few days ago for ds (and it was on half price so seemed a bargain) - Bladez Micro RC 2 Channel Helicopter - Yellow.
Agree with thehouseofmirth on very long charging for a few minutes play. On the third short go, ds accidentally flew it into a wall and now its trashed.
Total waste of money.

Has anyone got any positive stories? IT is what DN has asked for, so haven't got much choice, but I agree he is likely to have trashed it before lunch.

The picoo z's are great - but still hard to control. I actually bought one for DH a couple of years ago - it is in the big helicopter graveyard now though Grin
