Congratulations on the remission, was there anything that could have made your diagnosis easier (I woke in endoscopy)
What do you wish you knew before the start of treatment?
Was it caught early?
Did you put off seeing your GP?

Well done op!
What were your symptoms and did you suspect it was cancer before diagnosis?

I had no signs or symptoms and had been for a colonoscopy when I was 55 as I was invited to.
They struggled and had to abort it after I passed out from the pain. They diagnosed severe diverticular disease at that point.
I then moved house and registered at a new doctor. As part of registering they did a mini health check which showed I was actually anaemic. The doctor asked me to do a faecle sample which a duly did. The results were positive so I was then fast tracked.
Again they were unable to complete the colonoscopy so I was sent for a CT colonography and the results showed I had a tumour close to my liver.
It was found early because of my dr being scrupulous fortunately.
