Do you actually consider people in wheelchairs?
I've got 3 kids and 1 is a wheelchair user...OMG have you tried carrying a 25kg kid and then a wheelchair!!!!
Make our lives easier ...my kids deserve a normal life ....not just me saying sorry can't do that because of the bears wheelchair?!

brand I work for a main contractor,

ice All new builds are step free.as a contractor we don’t dictate what money is spent by the government, we build what is asked for.

Does that company start with B?

What would the government know about designing these stations, surely as the main contractor your company should be making design suggestions which comply with accessibility laws and other legislations while remaining in budget and on schedule?

How much does the average station cost? What is the most expensive component?

Not b, no.

As a main contractor we can only build what LU, and ultimately, the government fund. LU have their own architects and they dictate the station layout.

Cost wise, I’ve worked on stations up to £300m. Can’t give an average, every station is so different

Most expensive component is usually the civils aspect, ground works, tunnelling , massive holes in the ground..

If you were to move jobs, what kind of other things would you work on?

What are the prospects for promotion?

I’ve worked on residential, commercial and retail jobs but prefer the rail and infrastructure projects.

I’ve been promoted a number of times and can’t really go much further with my current company. Next step would be consulting or claims type work.

Why does the signage sometimes lead you in a circle at Bank at weekends? Twice I've ended up exactly where I started, although I followed the signs correctly
