Can it really be five years since the tea-drinking party, led by NormanTheForeman swept to victory in the last general election? Oh yes it can! And today the plastic people are off to the polling stations again.

This year's parties standing for election are as follows:-

Tea-drinking party (leader NormanTheForeman)

Lifesaving party (leader KylieTheLifeguard)

Law and Order party (leader MichaelTheBeachPoliceman)

Military party (leader Sir Ospringe Bapchild)

Legalise Robbery party (leader Jack Jellyhead)

PlaymoLand Independence party (PLIP) (leader Nigel Garage)

Here's a photo of all the party leaders.

I'll be back shortly to tell you a little about each party's main policies.

Polls are open now and will close at 10 pm.

Cast your vote here! Grin

Tea-drinking party

Here in the tea-drinking party we believe in drinking plenty of tea (or other beverage of your choice, we're not discriminatory here!) Accompanied by a nice fry-up. Or Biscuits. Or Cake. Get that kettle on!

Norm x

Lifesaving party

We believe in saving life. If we are elected we will introduce mandatory lifesaving classes in all schools and workplaces. We kind of like life. It's better than the alternative!

Kylie

Law and Order party

The Law and Order party wants to keep Playmoland a safe and happy place. And we quite like arresting criminals.

Michael

Military party

In the military party, we believe in running everything with military precision. We do like a good military parade, and think everyone's little plastic shoes and boots should be nice and shiny.

Sir Ospringe

Legalise Robbery party

We would like to see the introduction of free robbery and pilfering. It's not fair that some people have more money and stuff. We want that for everyone. So we should just be able to take it. Can't see what's wrong with that really...

Jack Wink

PlaymoLand Independence Party (PLIP)

Playmoland for ever! We don't want to be overrun by Lego people with their yellow faces or Polly Pockets with their excessive wardrobes. We don't want Happylanders coming over here and taking all our jobs. Playmoland for Playmolanders, that's what I say!

Your mate, Nige!

Ooh, I can't decide.

I'm going to have a hot beverage and think carefully about this.

I think Normans manifesto of cooked breakfast speaks to me.
Playmoland is certainly well run , just look at all the services it provides!

Definitely need another Brew and a ponder. Wouldn't want to make the wrong choice on such an important decision.

I don't know. Tea drinking is so civilised and thats whom I voted for last time, but can I clarify as to whether Normans party has any affiliation with the American tea party?

Also, can I ask, with the robbing party will small children be targeted? cos whilst its an interesting concept and one of the most honest parties by the sound of it, I can't have traumatised small playmos on my conscience.

Early vote here for Kylie. Would be good to see another woman in the hot seat! (Coffee drinker)

SoMuchToBits · 07/05/2015 07:41

I can assure you that the Tea-drinking party is in no way affiliated with the American Tea Party.

Jack Jellyhead says that small children wouldn't specifically be targeted, (banks yield much better profits) but he wouldn't elaborate further.

while i want to support kylie for being a woman in a man's world i find the idea of mandatory life-saving classes just too nanny-state-ish to vote for - what else might they do once they have power??

They may say they support tea drinking but independent research shows no actual increase in the drinking of tea over the last five years.

My vote goes to the Lifesaving party. They are pretty much committed to supporting tea drinking anyway on account of all the antioxidants, and it's time for a change.

I was wondering if PlayMoLand was having an election today!

This is going to be even more difficult to decide on than the UK election...

But I will make sure I vote in both.

Hhhhm banks to be robbed only? Tempting.

I do like that our Norm is Playmo of the people and continues posting on mnet and proffers tea in a crisis. Despite being a long standing coffee drinker.

It hard to disagree with with the life saving party's manifesto but I can't help but worry what would happen to the citizens of Playmo if they got their hands in a defibrillator..... Shattered plastic amongst melted parts. Shock

I'm so torn, never have I found it so hard to pick a party.

I'm with Kylie. Such an important role, and a manifesto I believe in.
And if I know lifesavers, they know how to party!
