Morning all. I'm not liking this Autumnal stuff at all!

Here is the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness for your first official weigh in

And don't forget there's also the Weight Tracker if you want to keep it private.

You can, obviously use both Grin

If you're looking for inspiration in the kitchen, have a browse of the Recipe Thread and feel free to add any of your own ideas.

I hope that you're all through the other side of carb flu, if you suffered from it, and wish you all a very good second week.

Half a pound up Blush good thing I'm not officially Bootcamping this time. I did a lot of weights last month though so I'm hoping to see some significant muscle gain. I'm almost certain my butt is more toned which is never a bad thing!

Won't be able to weigh in till tomorrow at the personal trainer. Just checking in..

2.5lbs down for me, which I'm very pleased about, and relieved, given Friday and Saturday!

By the sounds of it so far, there are some quite significant losses to come, which is fantastic.

Stunt - you and I both know, half a pound is neither here nor there. And a toned butt is always welcome Grin

3.5lb off which I'm really pleased with as I've had a chest infection so am having to take boat loads of drugs!

Can't wait til I can start exercising properly and just walking upstairs doesn't trigger me to cough up a lung :(

Have a good week everyone. Onwards and downwards!

Well done everyone with big losses.

2lb off. Annoyed because it was 3 yesterday. My pint of lager catching up on me Angry But then if I lose 2lb a week for 7 weeks (night out with school friends), then I'd be at goal weight (I could probably lose another stone after that but I think it would be arse v face by that point).

I might throw in a couple of fast days tomorrow and Friday.

I posted on the old thread, but I'll post again here!

4lbs down, very happy with that. Loving all the food too Smile

My biggest temptation of the week was last night - I made a carrot cake for a friend earlier in the day; managed to resist the leftover cake batter (not too difficult as oil based are not as tempting as butter batters imo!) but cream cheese icing is my absolute favourite...tiniest taste to make sure it was right; but no scraping the bowl (with plenty of excess!) afterwards like I usually do! Definitely helped having official weigh in the following morning; and I was rewarded with an extra 1lb off the loss I've been holding all week Smile no more baking for a while now though hopefully!!

Well done everyone!
3.8lbs off for me which I'm very happy with. Not sure how good this week will be as it's DD's 1st birthday tomorrow (I'm making cupcakes) and we are having a little tea for her on Saturday (i'm making a bigger cake) and then my friend's having a party on Saturday night too. Hopefully if I stay on track except for those events I will be relatively unscathed.

Even though have been low carbing for a while, I love boot camp as it focusses me again, gets me off the booze too, I know we drink too much Chez Pisety.

Have a good day losers.

Will update the spreadsheet when I'm on a laptop but pleased to report a 4lb loss Smile

Could've done better if I'd a) had more water and b) hadn't broken Boot Camp rules hadn't snacked on nuts Blush

In general I need to get better at Boot Camp rules - principally only eating when hungry and not snacking out of boredom - even of WoE authorised food.

Great loses so far!

I'm going to weigh in tomorrow as I was in a rush this morning and forgot, also on my period so not expecting to see downwards movement - although before it started I'd lost 2lbs in the first 2 days of bootcamp.

Yay losers!

Morning all,

Well done everyone on some fab losses and god luck for those still to WI. I posted on the old thread but thought I'd do so here too - well a 5.5lb loss is worth writing twice!

Am chuffed and inspired to carry on although I am feeling a bit rubbish today after being up with DS several times in the night as he's going through a 'scared of the dark' phase. Oh joy!

Today's plan:
B: eggs, wee bit of cream and ooodles of lovely butter Grin
L: Left over roast turkey, home made guacamole, salad, olive oil
D: Sausages (processed but v low carb), cauli mash, roast broccoli

Good luck for your new job too Taxi Flowers

7llbs for me - hooray!
Know most of that is glycogen (and trust me, I can put on a shedload of weight overnight if I start on the carbs) but v pleased. Main thing now is to keep on to start actual fat loss!!!

Hope everyone else happy with their scales this morning

4lb down, which is good going considering I fell off the wagon and into a trough of Bombay potatoes yesterday. Stayed off the booze though, which is a rarity for me.

I'm also starting a new job today! Good luck BiggerYellowTaxi and me.

4lbs down here too Grin pretty pleased with that and DH is gobsmacked as he spent all last week saying if I was eating bacon and eggs most days I would put weight on!

STS which was a bonus, the office people have been informed not to constantly top up my coffee and to ask rather than assume. 10cups of coffee =10tsps of sugar and a hell of a lot of milk Shock and that was just thursday Hmm I hadn't realised thursday what had happened as I was concentration so much, it was only when I couldn't sleep due to caffine over load that I got a bit of an eye opener. Taking sweetners into work so that they can use that if they feel they HAVE to make the coffee, but don't want more than 1 coffee in the day. Grin

Back on the wagon today, so let's see what happens.

Figrus this woe is good for celiacs (sp and no time to check) so would not introducing bits and bobs of this actually help? Poor ds got a shock recently when i tripled his veg portions but he was relieved his potato portion stayed the same (he is not keen on it unless it comes mashed) There is a lot of stuff that he will have that i don't but that is down to growth reasons. He needs his potatos. He also has jelly by the bucket loads for sensory reasons as he is an aspie. He is coming around to this way of eating reduce levels of carbs still has grains in his lunch which will be no good for you ds but he has something just above bootcamp light so it is tailored for him. Actually very doable and still fits with all of his allergy requirements. It is very hard to get your head around a diagnosis like this but it does get easier over time, second nature even. promise.

Morning everyone,

Well done losers Grin

This weekend I decided it would be a good idea for me to prove what happens to you when you eat carbs over the weekend and I put 4lbs on Sad

Firgus I noticed that you said you only dieted every couple of years...is that because the diets weren't sustainable or because you went back to how you ate before? That is one of the reasons some people are repeating BC, I am repeating BC because I had about 7 stone to lose when I started in January, I now have five (and four pounds Grin).

I found with this WOE when I was activley on BC I lost weight (~2lbs per week) but in between times I STS while eating occasional carbs but eating LC most of the time. That is what makes this WOE sustainable for me. As stunt and others have said though, everyone has a different level at which they can consume carbs and STS. I agree with Bitchy about coeliac, I have a friend who was recently diagnosed with coeliac and she basically eats LC, I think this is an ideal time to introduce LC to the whole family. They can have extra things like potatoes if they want and you can serve yourself more veg.

B: Coffee with cream, still to decide whatelse, eggs probably
L: Tuna, salad
D: Chicken thighs roasted with various veg (broccoli, asparagus, ?)

Good luck for the coming week and if anyone else STS or put on weight then stick with it and it will come off Smile

Very happy with a 3lb loss as I had a couple of slips during the week.
Weekends are HARD, I suppose a lot of us associate them with treats/ booze/ pizza etc. Onwards!
Well done everyone on the fantastic losses!

Well done all for the losses!
Stunt well done for your tight arse.

I'm really down this morning, I have just had my 4th week of staying the same Sad, and now I am fucking crying about it like a knobber. I am just feeling so frustrated, I have a mahosive amount to loose and really struggle to loose any weight, when I started this WOE and had some losses I really thought I had cracked what worked for my body.

Anyway I dont want to bring the thread down, so back to all of you well done with the weight loss and other changes you are seeing Smile

kukesi not sure if you have already done this but why not tell us what you have been eating and we can see if there is anything we can help with.

Did you start LC 4 weeks ago r have you been doing it longer? Also, have you taken any measurements? It is possible that you have lost inches but not lbs.

Please try not be be upset Flowers Try to think about the other benefits of this WOE, everyone has different upsides but have you:

Been enjoying your food?
Feeling better, more energy, sleeping better?
Better skin?
Other?! Smile

You haven't put weight on. If you hadn't started LCing would you have STS, put weight on or lost weight? If you would have STS then you are no worse off (and probably eating nicer food!), if you would have put weight on then you are better off and if you would have lost weight then maybe LCing isn't for you but I suspect that of you would have lost weight on your old WOE then you wouldn't be trying LC.

Kukesi want to list out what you've been eating for the last few days? Then old-timers can suggest ways of tweaking things. You know that stalls are very common, don't you? You'll get there! Flowers Flowers

Haven't weighed this morning as fell right in to a carb trough yesterday. Blush Was hungover and very hungry and just thought fuck it, my food has been exemplary for over a month, no slip ups at all, and I want a bloody day off. Hmm
