Oooh, thanks for starting a new thread. I've done bugger all for two days apart from the basics, it's been far too hot to do anything so I have plenty to catch up on tomorrow. I need to do:

  • tidy beds
  • wash breakfast dishes and wipe over kitchen
  • bathe toddler
  • tidy bedrooms
  • wipe over downstairs bathroom
  • dust and polish living room
  • sweep and mop throughout downstairs
  • clean finger marks off living room mirror
  • washing
  • fold and put away dry washing
  • clean out fridge
  • write shopping list
  • go to Aldi
  • pick up flea treatment from vets (still haven't done this...)
  • pick dd's meds up from chemist
  • go to Costco

I might add to that if I get it all finished but it'll do for now.

I write a list what I'm going to do for the day and come back and tick it off( it motivates me) I put as little or as much as I do

This morning all I've done is make my bed!

When I come home from work I need to

Make kids beds and tidy rooms
Fold dry washing

Hi Summerdays, welcome to the thread. I'm currently a SAHM with one toddler at home and 3 school age children too although I've been applying for jobs and had a few interviews so will hopefully be back to work soon.

I don't have set times to clean, it all depends on the toddler's mood! Some days she'll let me get on and amuse herself for half an hour, other times she's a cling on and I have to wait for her to nap at lunchtime before I can get things done. She's not left my knee yet this morning so I've not done anything yet apart from shower, get dressed and make my bed before she got up.

Hopefully this thread will keep you motivated, it definitely does for me and keeps my house looking clean and tidy most of the time.

Welcome summer! I am currently on maternity leave as have a 5 week old. But before that I worked full time. I also have a toddler (coming up to 2) I mainly come on here for a bit of motivation though I'm not achieving much at the moment. I don't usually set an amount of time to clean just do what needs doing and when I can fit it in around the eldest. Now I struggle to fit in anything!

So far I have:
Loaded dishwasher
Done handwashing

Another nice day so hoping to go to the park and for our daily walk Smile

Hiya busy people. Not been on the last few days as I'm trying to work through the ironing mountain now I'm on top of the washing. I got through two baskets last night and have another two to go. I'm sure some of that is stuff that just needs going away so will hopefully have that done by the end of the week. It's been slightly hindered by DD3 being off as she's usually at nursery for a few hours in the week.(Got the dates wrong boo!).

Welcome Summer. I'm pretty new on here too and have depression. Started on here trying to get some routine into my day. I'm a SAHM to 3. The eldest DD is 18 so doesn't need looking after, so much as a walking cash machine. Then I've DD2 who is 3 and DS who is 10.

Anyway, today I have:

Made beds
Emptied dishwasher
Washed pet bowls
Wiped kitchen
Walked (walked!) to chemist for my and DD2s prescription and played in the park opposite.
Tidied living room
Put washing in machine and hung it out
Still to do:
Make tea
Bath/ shower kids
More ironing

Good evening everyone. I've not done all my list again today as Dh went to sleep when he got in from work at 2pm til 5pm so I was left to deal with the toddler alone with a horrendous headache which just won't go away - grrr!

  • tidy beds done
  • wash breakfast dishes and wipe over kitchen done
  • bathe toddler done
  • tidy bedrooms done
  • wipe over downstairs bathroom
  • dust and polish living room
  • sweep and mop throughout downstairs swept, not mopped
  • clean finger marks off living room mirror
  • washing
  • fold and put away dry washing
  • clean out fridge done
  • write shopping list done
  • go to Aldi done
  • pick up flea treatment from vets (still haven't done this...)
  • pick dd's meds up from chemist
  • go to Costco

I can relax now and try to sort this sore head - everyone has eaten, toddler is bathed and in bed, dd2 has just got out of the shower and is putting her pjs on, just need to listen to her read then the evening is my own. Whoop!

Morning, I'm not sure how much cleaning at home I'm going to get done today, I'm visiting my parents this morning then cleaning my sister's house this afternoon. We shall see.

So far this morning all I've done is shower, tidy the beds and put the washer on.

What I definitely need to remember to do today though is pick dd3's meds up from the chemist as hers goes out of date today. I also need to get the flea stuff from the vets. Other than that I'll just see what I manage/can be bothered to do as its due to be hot again and I have to clean my sister's house from top to bottom so that might make me boil and not want to do any more!
