You still getting the bleeding? It's awful when your body just won't play ball isn't it?

Yeah, I should start testing on Monday but am dreading it really... Seems kind of pointless to me to be honest!! X

Haha loving all the coloring books! I tell you what it takes a lot longer than you think to do a full page! I was on for about 2 hours last night and am only a quarter way through!
Random question.. But if you oh goes out on the drink during the day for a stag do, then comes in later on pissed - how do you cope with it lol? I hate being around drunk people and I'm dreading Saturday night for that reason! Men! X

Oh and another thing - I was stupid enough to buy 'my baby's beat' Doppler app yday.. Ok so what are you thoughts? Gimmick? Waste of time? I can find my own heartbeat then what I think is baby's, but it also does a fast baby sounding heartbeat on random parts of my body. Guessing it's a total con.... X

Thanks for the new thread Vicki!!

Philippa I have no clue how that app works, I have an angel sounds one :)

Loving the colouring ladies!

Claire are you still spotting?

Off to Hunstanton, Norfolk in the caravan for a week on Saturday, so excited!! Dh has just booked it. Wouldn't work last night for some reason. It's ds' 4th birthday next Thursday so great timing :) Will be busy when we get back as I always make his birthday cakes, and his party is the Sunday! He'll have to have a shop bought one for the actual day though Blush

Aw! Hunstanton is lovely Choccy - we go there quite often as OH parents have a caravan in Heacham (the next little village along)...

We are going on the weekend of the 15th to meet them down there (they go every week during caravan season!)

Oh dear Claire... sending lots of hugs. I really do feel for you.

Philippa - my OH plays rugby so i am well used the the drunken thing, though he is taking the ttc really seriously and has stopped drinking full stop at the moment. Usually i am the one to pick him (and several of the other lads usually) up from the club completely wasted... i just tend to humour them a little until it gets too much then make my excuses...

My DH snores like a train when he's drunk which atm really pisses me off. But I'm not against a violent elbowing in the ribs and a form foot kicking him put of bed and into the spare room!

Haha love all the drunk coping mechanisms! My oh has been really good so far and hasn't drank much at all, in my opinion it's quite selfish to drink when I'm sober/not allowed! It's not that he's awful drunk, it's that he tries to act sober which annoys me more! Plus with it being a daytime thing, he should be home for like 7, but it's not like we can go out and do anything cos he'll be hammered!
We've got our gender scan on the Saturday morning so that will be good, just a shame we won't do anything to celebrate as he's going out! I guess it's once in a blue moon, just crappy timing!
Claire - I really hope things settle for you xx

Kazz - i quite often leave OH downstairs, his drunken habit is to fall asleep in random places!

I once caught him asleep, standing up having a wee and rocking - it went everywhere!!!! Needless to say, i wasn't clearing that bathroom up!!!!!

lol. my OH has a habit of drunkenly standing up in the middle if the night and staggering about on the spot at the side of the bed. when I ask what he's doing he's like 'I need a wee. I'm. going for a wee'. He the proceeds to stand there rocking until I turn the light on and he ends up sprinting to the loo! Lol! Men really are a nightmare!

hi everyone....i have randomly found these threads this morning and have been reading as much as I can from them! I have been in the trial (but still TTC) since May. I wish I had found you all sooner!!

Background on me - 3xMC, one naturally at 6 weeks, other 2 found at 11 weeks but growth had stopped around 8 weeks (D&C for both). last MC December last year.

I've previously caught 1st month on all 3, but this time around i'm now on month 4 with nothing to show for it. Had my 3 month appointment a few weeks ago and i've been told i have until beginning Oct to catch as they are stopping as of then. Talk about pressure!! I feel really crap about it. Out of the 4 months I've had 1 positive ovulation test, but AF as regular as clockwork. Doc has offered to do blood test on Friday to see if I have ovulated and if not they will take it from there and it may be that I'm better off out of the trial and in fertility centre. Since my 1st MC i have also had very light & short AF and so he now also wants to scan me next month to check the thickness of the lining of my uterus as this could be an issue.

I am now counting down the days until I can start preg tests (even though no positive ovulation yet i've been told to test from 7 days before AF). All this testing is not helping my anxiety levels!!

Anyway...lovely to meet you all, and congratulations to everyone who has had success so far. You really fill me with hope and positivity that one day all this will really have been worth it.

advice please ladies.....what would you do? quick recap I've had all nhs testing following my 3 mcs. have now been referred to gynae for brown spotting prior to af and to look at why I'm not conceiving. would you go to Coventry for unk tests before gynae app? I ance spoken to Coventry and based on timing I would be able to go early Sept my gynae app is 8 Sept. my worry is if gynae then arrange any tests which I can't ttc before having I will be wasting the 3 months which are meant to be optimum following the uterine scrape? does that make sense?
if I dont go sept and wait it will be nov as we go away at right time for Coventry in oct. just dont know whats best?x

Sorry I've been awol all. My sis and family are here so been galloping round doing the museum and some street shows on the royal mile today. Thanks for the new thread and welcome little.

claire, i would agree that your spotting would not be considered the end of your LP, it would be at full flow af, but it's definitely a worry just not knowing why it's happening. Big hug x
