Me!

I want t loose about a stone before December - I know, I know it's totally unrealistic!

I had a baby last Dec and I have already lost all my baby weight - infact I'm a stone lighter than i was before I had him, but I really want to be thin! We have a wedding to go to in Dec and I'd love to look WOW!!!!!!

How are you planning on doing it? I am currently trying to follow weight watchers (at home, I can't be arsed with the meetings) trying to manage 2 gym visits a week and playing netball weekly. It sounds geat in theory doesn't it but somehow I'm fine during the week and then it all goes to pot at the weekend!

Hi sweetheart

I'm just going to try healthy eating - NO junk or biccies with my tea etc. And go to gym bit more often hopefully. I was doing weightwatchers but kept cheating on the points!!

I had baby year and a half ago and I would love to get back into same size clothes. So shall we go for it!

yeah why not!

I am finding it real hard going at the moment. I was doing really well - ost about 2.5 stone after having ds.

The trouble is I am actually slimer than I have been for quite a few years so although I want to loose more weight I'm actually pretty happy with the results I've had so far - Therefore I just don't have any motivation at the moment.

I'm very stubborn and have brilliant will power but my head HAS to be in the right fram of mind - otherwise it just doesn't happen!

It doesn't help that I have a meal out booked every week between now and Xmas! Aggghhhhhh!

I have been doing ww on and off for about 4 years now and generally the trend has been downwards (apart from 2 pregnancies!). I have managed to keep the weight off and I think it has taught me how to live a healthy lifestyle and make good food choices.

Me too!

Seeing as my sister and I refer to each other as 'the sumo sisters', I think I'd better join in. Wonder if she'll find this thread.

Need to lose over a stone, but would be considerably happier if lost 10lbs.

Have you got a time limit in mind EL?

I'd like to too. I'm happier about a stone lighter. 10 pounds would be great too.

Is a time limmit of 10 weeks too non-commital and woossy? (sp? Wussy?)

Ten weeks sounds ok for me - any sooner will be a bonus then!

Morning everyone - how's the first day going?

9 weeks until the wedding we are going to. 14Ibs in 9 weeks - 1.5Ibs a week - ummmmm possible i suppose!

Well, this morning I didn't have time for breakfast so so far I've had 1 cuppa. I didn't have time to make my salad this morning either so I'll have to venture into town at lunch time and have the struggle between being good or being naughty! Mind you, I have a ww pizza for tea tonight and I'll be playing netball so I suppose I can relax a bit for lunch!

Weighed myself this morning - I have been stuck at the same weight for weeks now and I just can't get under it - even if I'm really good. I'm finding it quite depressing!

How are the rest of you doing today?

Done my aerobics class this morning (but do that anyway - my problem is eating between meals and whilst cooking. And consuming too much Green and Black's 'healthy' dark chocolate).

Plan to make some soup for lunch - will add creme fraiche to dd3's BUT NOT MINE. Will have oat cakes with it NOT TOAST hopefully to circumnavigate desire for butter on toast. I will not open the cupboard with chocolate in it. Promise.

Snacking is my major issue too - spend time lovingly preparing healthy meals for family then sit in the evening munching crisps, choc and maybe glass of wine for good measure!

So far today toast for breakfast and salad sandwich and a banana for lunch. Evening time is my danger zone so will need all my willpower.

Hello to everyone who has joined - great to have you helping with the support!

dic - Did you have the alpen bar instead of lunch?!?! I'd be careful if you are having them as a snack as I have often found that those "healthy bars" aren't quite as healthy as they are supposed to be.

For lunch I had a low fat tuna sandwich (I hardly ever eat sandwiches at lunch!) and have some caramel snack a jacks for later - they are great for me for taking the edge off my "something sweet" craving!

I have a habit of jumping on the scales every morning hich is really bad and I must stop doing it! I tend to use Sat morning as my weigh in but only so I can have Saturdays as my "day off dieting" and then I have the rest of the week to make up for it! I have to have a day off each week - itherwise I get really glum and just give up. I think it's good to give yourself the odd little treat. That way I don't feel like I'm starved of anything nice!

I'm happy enough for weekly weighin - will we keep it to a thursday seeing we're starting today? Don't need to report our actual weight just the loss (or gain!!!)

dic - I hope you don't get hungry later and start to pick at anything in sight (thats what I would be like!) I just know when i skip lunch it always ends in disaster (disaster being crisps and biscuits and whatever else I can get my hands on!)

I'm really pissed off that I have so many meals booked in over the next 10 weeks - I find it spoils my whole week coz I loose my will power for the sake of 1 meal. Mind you, it's not just the meal is it - it's the drink too (and the burger/kebab on the way home once your pissed!) Or maybe thats just me!
