Just putting a marker down for a new thread for the Shreddees! All welcome, and it's not limited to the Shred - all those working through any of JM's various forms of torture are very welcome.

Put on 10lb over christmas Shock and need to shift it and shape up.

Just started 6 week 6 pack. Have shredded before, then went on to yoga, now back to Jillian. Day 3, level 1. I have never felt my inner thighs like on those side planks!

Loving it.

Thanks very much for the suggestions re shins and videos, I'll take a look at them tomorrow. Have been sensible with a couple of days off everything even though I hate the feeling of doing nothing. Trainers are to blame I dare say as I did my training for half marathon in them, you're meant to chuck them after that mileage. Lesson learned and a nice excuse for shiny new ones. Good idea to put something on the wooden floor for jumpy bits too.

Level 2 of the shred complete! I was up at 630 this morning, thanks to ds. We are off to London today as dh is doing the winter 10k run, so I thought I might as well get it over with so I can clean sit in my arse when we get home later. Not sure if it's because I knew I was finishing level 2 today, or the early morning, but I managed to do a lot more of the cardio stuff today.

Place marking to resume once I emerge from under this mountain of snot (mine and DS-non-sleeping-2's).

To remind myself - last one I did was 30DS L3D6

Checking in! As usually plan this month is to do some JM and some Shaun T, so will be a part-time poster on here!

Elphaba get better soon Flowers.

Caramel I like 6W6P - L2 more than L1, although L1 has grown on me as my strength has increased.

Shred L1 yesterday (urgh - I still do find it amongst the hardest of JM's workouts); rest day today.

Thanks Imogen, checking in.
Have not shredded since Friday though as have come down with stinking head cold - totally sympathise with Elphaba.
Will continue with 30DS L2 for a few days when I feel better - hopefully tomorrow.

Can I join? I've shredded before but not for a few years due to car accident. Am currently at the tail end of a cold but plan to start again tomorrow. Need to time my core and loose a few pounds

Can I join in? I've just finished No More Trouble Zones but I use fitness blender midweek, is that allowed?

I've just done day two of the 30-Day Shred, so I'm up for a get-fit-February. I'm feeling it today - particularly in my lardy thighs and saggy bum. Hoping for some good results!

Hello all
I've just posted in the Jan thread, but realised this one is now going, doh. thanks for setting it up imogen

L2 now completed, onto L3 tomorrow. Good, because I was bored the last few days. Bad luck all you out there with colds...Elphaba Blody and others. Get well soon.

here's to a Fabby Shreddy Febby...leading to a Less of the Mummy Tummy March and, who knows, even an Abs Are Seen Again April! (Ok, i'm probably getting carried away now....)

Marking my place! Been away for a few days but will be starting l3 day 1 tomorrow, along with a couple of other people I see...

RI30 L3 D3 done. Ow, those jumping lunges! At least my balance was better today on the one-legged poses. Does anyone else find they have days when they're rock solid and days when they're wobbling all over the place?

Thanks to Elphaba and blodynmawr. Hope your colds clear up soon. DH and DS had a filthy evil cold last week, but astonishingly I escaped it. I'm expecting to get my lurgy when we go on holiday in a couple of weeks: that's usually the way it goes.

Amethystus, I had another thought - Killer Abs is low-impact as there's hardly any cardio. There's one cardio move in each circuit, which you could easily skip or modify. In spite of the title it's a pretty good whole-body workout, with weights.

Welcome to the new posters! LumpySpacedPrincess, we're amazingly flexible on these threads, and provided there's some Jillian in there any combination of workouts is fine. I've never looked at Fitness Blender: is it any good?

New to 30 day shred, and new to the thread, have just done day 2 of level 1.
When does it get easier????
I'm not new to exercise, but that's a tough 20 mins!!
PS this is going to take me more than 30 days... only doing it 3 x week. Do you all do it every day?

blodynmawr · 02/02/2015 18:50

Still a bit snotty so no Shredding today Sad.
Back to L2 tomorrow though.
Dun I try and Shred 5 or 6 times a week to stay in the habit! Some days I am more 'in the zone' than others but it is surprising how quickly your fitness and strength improve! Posting on here also helps keep me motivated!
Hope other folks with colds also feeling better Flowers.

Hi everyone. I'm in for February. I've just done a 30 day bikram yoga challenge so shifted the Christmas pounds (all six of them Blush) but still have somewhere between 7-14lbs to shift.

So tomorrow morning it's 6W6P. I've Shredded before so looking forward to something new.

Hello Level 3! Think my abs and shoulders will hurt tomorrow, and Rock Star jumps can go do one, but I managed more than I thought I'd be able to do

Level 1 Day (erm) 3 done Blush. I fell off the last thread embarrassingly early, but I'm back and ready to get Shredded or die trying. What I like is that even after only doing 2 days my arms looked better. My arms are usually not too bad due to hoiking 14lb of baby and/or 24lb of toddler around, though - need my tummy to start showing some improvement!

Elphaba, I hope your ANST starts sleeping through soon! Mine has been slightly better this last week, apart from throwing up in her bed on Saturday at midnight.

I'm a newbie to this thread and to Shredding too, did 30DS L1D2 today. Have also been doing a weekly (tough!) yoga class and pilates 1-2 times a week so hoping the combination works. I need to build up my core after giving birth 7m ago and suffering a back injury for the last 3 or 4 months. So far I'm enjoying it, it's hard to argue over 20mins even when it gets sore :)

Yoga Inferno L1 D4 done. I can't do this fluidly enough - the women on the DVD just flow from one movement to the next, and I flail around always a beat behind where I ought to be. Still, it's done.

Hi I fell off the last thread as I came down with a stinking cold so stopped last Tuesday when I was on L2 D2 I restarted today on D3. Felt very wheezy tho so took some of the cardio a bit easy. Can already feel it.
Hope to do it every day now until Friday.

Can't Shred today. We have no pigging water. I am not Shredding if I can't wash afterwards. I hate both Scottish Water and our landlord, who are playing responsibility ping-pong.

No sleep and no water, Cheddar? That's unfortunate Sad ANST was awake four times last night. Fortunately, he was DH's problem. Unfortunately, ANSB was my problem and he was awake far, far more than four times Brew
