Nope. DH's shirts are fine if they are hung up to dry. Nothing I own needs ironing.

Does look scruffy, but I am guilty of being a scruff some of the time.

I don't wear shirts or uniforms. Dcs uniforms don't need ironing. I probably iron about 10 things a year but usually only if I'm going to an occasion.

I never iron, and I dont send it out either. If DH wants a shirt he is old enough and ugly enough to iron it himself. It must be literally years since I have held an iron.

What about sheets and duvets, too big to go in the drier

You must all sleep in crumpled beds

I very rarely iron. Tumble drier gets most of the creases out. Occasionally Dp's shirt might need an iron for work (but he's working away from home atm, so that's not an issue ).

Frankly, I don't give a monkeys if I look a bit rumpled.

I don't iron! DP doesn't wear shirts, neither do I.

I don't think I look scruffy.

I would iron cotton shirts, if I wore them.

I think if you did a lineup with me, my friend who irons everything and a bunch of people in the middle you wouldn't be able to reliably tell who didn't iron.

I don't have a tumble dryer either.

Ironing clothes makes them look that little bit smarter (even if they have been in the tumle drier) and that extra effort makes you stand out from the scruffs

"What about sheets and duvets, too big to go in the drier"

We have a super kingsize bed and the sheets and the duvet cover manage to go in the drier at the same time, you must have the smallest tumble drier in the world.

Non-iron shirts from M&S come out great from the tumble dryer...then under a pinafore and cardi

Most of DS stuff gets dried flat on radiator, then he just rolls around on the floor at home and playgroup!

I try and buy stuff that doesn't need much ironing so the pile stays small!

Tumble drying everything is just bad for the envoriment

You dont iron because you must be lazy, using tumble drier to get creases out is also lazy

In what sense do you 'stand out from the scruffs'? As being a bit smoother. Which is better because...?

I am always f-ing ironing.I hate it with a passion.Agree fleeces can be hung up but have to iron anything cotton, bedding, school and my uniforms and so on.I yearn for a tumble drier but no room

Why would I want to stand out from these supposedly scruffy people? Do I get extra biscuits or child benefit from looking less scruffy?
