Madeleine McCann new evidence - BREAKING NEWS

A Senior German detective has told a court that investigators had found emails on a Hotmail account used by Christian Brueckner that linked him directly to the Madeleine McCann case.

However, the detective was unable to share details of the evidence as it was 'related to the killing' of Madeleine. Brueckner, the prime suspect, is currently on trial in Germany for unrelated sex crimes.

I'm really hope this is the beginning of the end for that poor family.

Didn’t the German police say that a long time ago, that they had evidence that Madeleine was dead and that he was involved, but they wouldn’t give any more information? Why can’t they charge him?

I hope it’s enough to charge him.

They must not have evidence that the crime happened in their jurisdiction. If they are confirming her death in this way, that’s not right.

I just want so badly for her family to have the answers they so desperately seek and, if she is dead to be able to have a funeral and to grieve properly. A conviction would hopefully also put an end to the vile rumours that have circulated about their involvement for all of these years.

@TheThingIsYeah well that is all well and good but an Irish girl I know has just been there as he raped her years ago in portugal and she has given evidence and had to go through her own ordeal again and yes it is going to bring up the Madeline case again but it is not in the least convenient for her although she is a strong woman and I hope she gets that bastard done for what he did to her at very outside.

That is a vile, vile man. I can't imagine what that poor child went through if he did take her.

I believe the McCanns were told, when he first became a suspect, that they had circumstantial evidence and belief she was no longer living but not the circumstances so were unable to prosecute on that. I believe he has been in prison so long as they are hoping he will talk and someone will inform. That’s usually how these old cases are solved.

I just can't imagine how a family deals with this sort of a loss of a child. Any loss is horrible but to not know where they are, what they have been through and whether they are dead or alive. It is unthinkable.

I don’t want to know…absolutely sickening that this creature is still alive!
I think about her parents regularly and they were destroyed that day .
They didn’t do anything wrong apart from a bad call leaving her at the apartment.
As a parent who had children a similar age in the 90s/00s it was considered ok to eat very close to our apartment and regularly check. It was normal and never on our radar that a weirdo would steal our child.
