CT has a ‘Don’t know nothing, guv,’ quality that would stand him in good stead in any unionised profession.

OvaHere · 20/05/2022 12:55

Thanks for the new thread.

Thanks @ickky I think these threads are filling up at an increasingly quick rate!

Thanks for new thread @ickky

Ameanstreakamilewide · 20/05/2022 12:56

That attitude wouldn't wash with MR, tabby.

Chrysanthemum5 · 20/05/2022 12:56

Well CT made a change from the other legally trained witnesses who couldn't understand questions if they had more than a few words

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 20/05/2022 12:56

Settling in for the next instalment

MsMarvellous · 20/05/2022 12:56

Thanks @ickky

CTs answer to the question about instructions from above was off kilter with the quality of his other answers. Not necessarily a lie but very uncomfortable.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/05/2022 12:57

I'll repost my post with the extra witness details as they haven't made it in.

Simonedinovoir · 20/05/2022 12:57

I’m finding CT very credible and clear.

GrumpyMenopausalWombWielder · 20/05/2022 12:57

Place mark

Iknowitisheresomewhere · 20/05/2022 12:57

This is very interesting. He is very straightforward. This is very different from the barristers who were actually much less confident of their ground.

I think I’m convinced by what he said about not caring one way or the other about her tweets, and not being told not to clerk her. Or certainly not convinced otherwise.

But it’s also true that her clerking did change (in practice, if not officially). There must be a reason for that but maybe it’s that he perceived her as difficult: I got that sense from him. He sees her as picky, fussy and not willing to do favours. I wonder whether he treats the men the same as the women?

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 20/05/2022 13:01

Just for the new thread. Witnesses so far that are missing or incomplete in the list:

Dr Nicola Williams - Fair Play for Women
Dr Judith Green - Woman's Place UK
Lisa-Marie Taylor - FiLiA

Zainab Al-Farabi - ex Stonewall

Ameanstreakamilewide · 20/05/2022 13:01

I'm not a fan of JR's...

LipbalmOrKnickers · 20/05/2022 13:02

Is it the case that the GCC QCs we've heard from so far (AB excepted) have been so busy trying to get ahead of the argument and spot hidden traps that they have come across as evasive and waffly, whereas CT is just answering the questions asked and so comes across as honest and believable?

MsMarvellous · 20/05/2022 13:02

I don't like JRs style

WeBuiltCisCityOnSexistRoles · 20/05/2022 13:02

I can only see thumbnails of the bingo cards but I am sincerely hoping that Cunt Wipe is on there!

tabbycatstripy · 20/05/2022 13:02

Fight!
