Hugs all the auggies and all of us have lost a fair amount of weight

Some still have weight to lose myself included

Equally a few are nearing their healthy bmi or have reached it and thinking about maintaining

I was once blessed by a temple elephant in India. I gave him a peanut and bowed my head and he touched me on my head with his touch as a blessing. I'm pretty sure it was his trunk

Hello, I’m new to this thread. I’m seriously thinking about mounjaro but it’s quite expensive for me to spend on myself monthly but I’m trying to see if I can make it work, I need to do something.
is there a place that is trustworthy and affordable? Any recommendations from anyone? I can’t get from nhs so would have to be private.

its not a quick easy ride. You do need to watch what you eat

some think jab and eat what they like and wonder why don’t lose anything

how much do you have to lose /what’s your bmi ?

I wouid look on a thread for this month so feb and join that as all will be starting at same time. We have been on it for 7mths

BMI of 39, want to lose at least 4 stones in the long run.
I mentioned nhs because I tried my GP surgery for a referral but they said we don’t have access at the moment to these services but that varies accross the country so wasn’t sure. Thank you for your reply and helpful advice, will have a look at links

Morning all, thanks for the new thread blondes. Amazing losses from you all as well as NSVs! Weigh in yesterday, pound off. Still losing v slowly but now 10 lbs till I'm at the very top of healthy BMI, 19 to my GW of 150lbs, though may revise that when I get there Feeling like it's all within reach now. Due to horrendous side effects I did a 5 mg jab from my 10 pen, can't risk feeling so lousy again. Have a good week all.

we are a mixed bunch as in some are hardcore and on top doses v the wimps still on under 5

but I don’t think any of us would be where we are today without the support of each other on this thread - hence why I said to join a feb /beginners thread as well

@4pink1blue I couldn't reply before the thread filled up but I also started out last August convinced that this would be another failed diet. That's why I didn't even tell dh. It was the best decision though - a healthy BMI is just about in sight now.

I've sts this week after a whoosh last week. But also full of pmt rage and bloat, and just finished a pen. For the first time this week I've really been able to feel the suppression tailing off. Took my first dose of 10 this morning.

Even with less suppression - I was really proud of my good choices last night. Busy day, wasn't ready for my dinner until late, kitchen was a state and I only needed to feed myself not the whole family for once. Old me would have ordered the overpriced Deliveroo pizza (£20 with all the charges added in 😱) and probably got a cheesy garlic bread on top to make it better value for money. Instead I tidied up the kitchen and made a quick many-veg stir fry. Felt very proud of myself by the end of the evening.

I've been shopping ready for the start of the strength training 6 week course I've idiotically signed up for. It starts tomorrow morning at 9.30am so think of me. Weather forecast is for 3 degrees and drizzle, so I went to get some warmer tops. Tried on sizes 16 and 14 and went with the 14s! Still got to get used to not automatically buying the bigger sizes - either because that was what fitted, or because I wanted to hide myself.

MedExpress wanted a new photo with my re-order yesterday. I looked back to the one I sent them in August for the first time (top tucked in for the photo - didn't walk the streets like that 😁) and finally I could look past my lumpy saggy belly and thighs and recognise the difference. Hooray!

Ooh my images are under review - what's that all about? Have I missed something?

bmi now 28 something which feels great after starting at 40.
saw comments about sizes and hope you have success in M&S @Blondeshavemorefun with S14 jeans. I got great jeans from there which were in extra short for my short legs, first time I’ve had jeans fit properly and think I saw the recommendation on one of the threads (sienna jeans). I think sizing generally is bizarre and I’ve got a range of small to large in different items even from the same shop🤷🏻‍♀️ got lucky with some £4 jumpers and hoody’s from primark recently in the sales which will tide me over until i drop some more weight. Still aiming for another 2 stones.
First jab of 12.5mg this morning and so far no side effects. I’ve been moving my jab day so actually been taking it every 6 days for last couple of weeks. Want to be back to taking it in a Friday night.

Hello and evening beauties, we went for a late lunch today and omg it was lovely. I had mozzarella and parma ham to start and stonebass for main, I had a dessert and ate most of it too haha. Yummmmm I'm now in jammies, DH is making his soup and a curry to take away for work tomorrow. The cold is making my bones ache 😫. We got most of what we wanted to packed up this morning, still have some more tea sets and glasses and decanter sets to sort ffs 😂

Oh NinjaCrab that meal looks lush - right up my flagpole!! Anyone else getting bombarded by Just Eat? They really miss me 😆
I had a morning of all those odd jobs like hanging pictures and cleaning out cupboards n stuff. How old am i!!
Then this afternoon I've been sewing. I was cutting out some Safari animals fabric but couldn't unsee the elephant so I went with gonks instead 😂😂
