Thank you 😊 🙏

Morning... on my daily walk... obviously!

Place marking.

I'm not quite at the three months yet I didn't start until 20th August.

Love it when the weather starts to get more gloomy... less people come out to walk. Got the fields to myself! Although it's grey it's actually very mild I've had to tie my coat round me and just in my t shirt! In November!

Morning! Thanks for the thread and loving the daily walk pictures. I've really got out of the habit of walking it used to really set me up for the day.

Thanks for the red dress love! I will no doubt be asking for your opinions nearer the time 😘

Weird day yesterday had to do a mad dash over to Sheffield to console a distraught dd who had had a horrible argument with the arsehole boyfriend. She's ended it and I'm desperately hoping she's strong enough to stick to her decision.

Full on day of cleaning and sorting today as I feel like the house has got out of control just need to motivate myself off the sofa!

Arraminta · 07/11/2024 09:54

Morning all. Lovely photos Owlyboo. Like you, I absolutely love gloomy weather and feel best in the 'Ber months. I hate hot, sunny weather. DH thinks I'm crazy.

Feeling much better this morning and bizarrely have lost 2lbs this week! Going to have my first 7.5mg jab later so fingers crossed it's okay.

owlyboo · 07/11/2024 10:03

Oh god @troppibambini6 my dd is 13 I'm not looking to that in the future. As someone that married (and now thankfully am divorced from) my twatty teenage boyfriend I hope she does to!

Can defo a vouch for the healing properties of a morning walk! Get out there and do it!!

@Arraminta snap! I even enjoy the darker morning and evenings.. bright lights hurt my eyes 😂😂 maybe I'm a vampire!! 🧛

Well done on the loss!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/11/2024 10:37

Place parking, thanks @Blondeshavemorefun

Ohh no @troppibambini6 hope she’s ok and she keeps away if he’s no good. Awful how the wrong relationship can drag you down into misery.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/11/2024 11:53

I tried stirring protein powder into cold water and was lumpy - heaves

At £14 for think 10 drinks so £1.40 each , it's a flaff to make

Is it possible to buy ready flavoured protein drinks already made up so 500ml etx

Will look on Amazon

As it's a good way to get protein in - I've decided I don't like the mouses /rice /yogurts much as too thick /bland - tried many flavours so need to find a way to add 20p a day

Good afternoon 😊

FlappingMadly · 07/11/2024 13:14

I just use my bullet for protein smoothies. Kefir, water, fruit (frozen or fresh) vitamins and protein powder. If I’m on the move or a day out I put it in a screw top Tupperware.
Place marking! Thank you @Blondeshavemorefun for this thread.

NSV I’ve had for a while. When I’m sitting down my stomach is noticeably flatter. I’ve had my first person notice. Whoop! 💃💃

Arraminta · 07/11/2024 13:19

@troppibambini6 I've been there! Had to go driving through the night to comfort DD who had split with her (sweet but useless) boyfriend of 4 years. She's now living her best life, footloose and fancy free x

troppibambini6 · 07/11/2024 13:32

Thank you everyone..... just spoke to her and she's sounding a lot more positive today. She's at uni and he's been horribly controlling so she was made to feel if she ended it she would have no one.

Since yesterday she's joined a female running club which she's going to tonight, arranged drinks with girls from boxing tomorrow then she's off to Leeds to meet up with her best friends from home who are all recently single.

troppibambini6 · 07/11/2024 13:33

@Arraminta it's so hard isn't it?

He shoved her during an argument. I literally wanted to go and kill him Angry

troppibambini6 · 07/11/2024 13:33

Sorry completely derailing the thread!

Hope everyone is having a good food day?!

troppibambini6 · 07/11/2024 13:34

Well done on your loss @Arraminta

troppibambini6 · 07/11/2024 13:36

@Blondeshavemorefun could you whizz it in the blender with some ice maybe? Like a shake or would that not be nice...

owlyboo · 07/11/2024 13:48

Yay for flatter tummy's @FlappingMadly especially when sat down! That's the last to go!

@troppibambini6 sounds like she's got her head screwed on! Hope she has fun with her friends! And yes I would also want to kill him (kind of still do and she's not my daughter!)

FlappingMadly · 07/11/2024 14:22

@troppibambini6 sounds like she’s coping marvellously. Please remind her about personal safety.

I did whizz in blender. It's really weird as came out like milkshake and frothy

About 10mins later it settled and turned info water liquid /

I've got a clear protein on the go at the moment. Some flavours have made me heave as they're so sweet but this one, cranberry and raspberry, isn't too bad.

However, I do put each sachet in at least 1l of water and leave it to settle after shaking the bottle for around 45 minutes before I even attempt to drink it. By this time it's actually lump free and transparent.

OnTheBounce · 07/11/2024 15:16

Checking in - thread 8 already, wow!

I have a Protein Works diet breakfast shake every morning - 24g of protein and also similar amount of fibre. The chocolate muffin flavour tastes weirdly like Milupa (70s baby!) but the banana cake one that has rave reviews online is... not so great. I whizz it up in my Ninja blender with semi-skimmed milk and some ice cubes and drink it without thinking too hard about what's in it.

I'm still losing very verrrry slowly - but hoping that's the sustainable way! I definitely notice a difference on the scales if I consciously drink a lot of water, so am trying to make more effort with that.

eeeeeeeee · 07/11/2024 15:42

I’m checking in too. Thanks for the new thread!

Currently, I’m 2 kilograms away from achieving a BMI of 24.9. However, my body composition isn’t ideal. I’m still retaining weight in areas that I didn’t when I was at this weight previously (which was two years ago), such as my knees, thighs, and arms.

I’m currently on 10mg and will keep going with the rest of this pen. I also ordered a 12.5mg pen early, so will probably take that and then see where I’m up to in the new year in terms of maintenance or coming off completely.

Changinghabits1973 · 07/11/2024 15:46

Afternoon all....

Thanks for the new thread !

Well done everyone on their losses and sorry to hear some on here are feeling unwell this week.... truly... its awful feeling so crappy and ploughing through this MJ journey....

Question: for the peeps on here on 7.5mg; throughout my MJ journey i have loved my green tea, ginger tea and peppermint tea - now all of a sudden, the peppermint and ginger ones give me horrible acid reflux / indigestion... it's awful. I have been on acid reflux medication for a few years now and usually I am ok - but this never happened on the lower doses at all and has only been in the past couple of weeks since doing the full doses of 7.5mg... do you think i should persevere with the herbal teas and see if my body adjusts over the next few weeks or stop them? Its a shame as i really do enjoy drinking them now that i have really cut back on coffee - i used to drink so so much coffee but have been strict with myself on MJ and only have 1 mug first thing downstairs before i start the day...

Has this happened to anyone else? I am interested whether it is just me !

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/11/2024 16:19

@poppym12 yes leaving it to settle def helps

@eeeeeeeee omfg so close to goal. Well done

@troppibambini6 you didn't derail thread about dd. Glad she's feeling stronger today

@OnTheBounce so you have a milkshake every breakie ? I may try this as don't always have time for scrabbled eggs but know I need the protein

@Changinghabits1973 are you on omeprazole
