Stars Emily Watson and Denise Gough.

Cant say I know much about it, but hopefully it will be better than Intruder.

Please!

Looks weird my kind of drama.

the80sweregreat · 12/04/2021 20:37

I hope it is better than the intruder!

theresnoonequitelikegrandma · 12/04/2021 21:29

Looking much better than Intruder so far......but that is setting the bar very low indeed tbh! 😂

ConnieCaterpillar70 · 12/04/2021 21:30

Hmm not sure so far........... but will stick through 1 episode.

HollowTalk · 12/04/2021 21:31

I'm finding it really depressing.

theliverpoolone · 12/04/2021 21:33

I'm finding it depressing too, not sure if I want to keep watching.

Creamcrackersandricecakes · 12/04/2021 21:34

Yup, it's not very cheery is it? Are we supposed to think that Emily Watson's character has lost a child? That's the impression I'm getting.

Jux · 12/04/2021 21:37

I think it's dull and very cliched. I doubt I'll watch the other episodes; in fact I've just got so annoyed by it that I've switched it off. Rubbish.

stevematekatemate · 12/04/2021 21:37

This is so far a bit terrible.

Creamcrackersandricecakes · 12/04/2021 21:38

I always like to watch programmes like this in the hope that something, one day, will come close to the fabulousness that was Cracker. Nothing really has yet and sadly I don't think this one is going to.

Jux · 12/04/2021 21:42

Creamcrackers, they could film some Christopher Brookmyre - Parlabane, Jasmin Sharpe, Angelique de Xavier, any of them would be more interesting (and also funny) than this pair.

Creamcrackersandricecakes · 12/04/2021 21:45

Yes, I'd absolutely watch that. This is depressing as hell.

GillBungalow · 12/04/2021 21:49

It started off quite promisingly but has quickly become a cliche fest.

unique1986 · 12/04/2021 21:50

Loving this.

Jojoanna · 12/04/2021 21:51

It’s very negative , not sure I will bother with it

OhWhyNot · 12/04/2021 21:59

Cracker was absolutely brilliant

This is boring and why are they driving really old cars

cariadlet · 12/04/2021 22:00

I was really forward to this but also switched it off. So full of cliches and stereotypes. I was really disappointed.

LockdownLard · 12/04/2021 22:02

Directed by Sue Tully? Didn’t she play Michelle Fowler in Eastenders?

That was about the most exciting part of it Grin

stevematekatemate · 12/04/2021 22:03

I don’t think I’ll be watching tomorrow.

OhWhyNot · 12/04/2021 22:04

No I don’t think I will either

theliverpoolone · 12/04/2021 22:04

Just noticed it was directed by Sue Tully. Didnt she used to be in Eastenders?

theliverpoolone · 12/04/2021 22:05

@LockdownLard cross posts!

HollowTalk · 12/04/2021 22:05

At the end when her husband and her friend were in the car, were they holding hands?

unique1986 · 12/04/2021 22:06

Yes Sue Tully has directed lots of TV dramas now.
