Day 100

So what have you done and what are you planning to do?

I've started on the water. I had planned to weigh myself but forgot (great start) in addition to everything else on my list I'm going to paint my nails later.

I have also put oil in my hair but am yet to dry it, the baby has just gone down for a nap and I darent put the BBH on incase I wake her!

later I will be painting my nails, clensing and toning and sorthing out a check list (I ddnt have time to make one before I went on holiday Sad)

I have a very busy day today tho as I'm trying to update my blogs (all 3 of them!) and take new photos for the estate agent.

right off to my busy busy day

AGeeksWife · 15/09/2012 09:18

I did not have a healthy breakfast (peanut butter on toast with 2 Ferrero Rochers, oops) but it's food in my tummy to start the day. I also forgot my ACV this morning. So not really got going so far! Will need to get my bum in gear otherwise a morning will turn into a day will turn into a week etc

snowballinashoebox · 15/09/2012 09:22

So far I have done nothing and I am trying to do everythIng!

DP was 30 yesterday and I had to do party food for 14 last night! Absolutely shattered today!

So far have changed 3 horrible nappies (thanks teething!), fed baby, put eczema cream on baby and struggled to dress greasy baby!!

Step 1- healthy breakfast washed down with water!

Misssss · 15/09/2012 09:39

I've started drinking the water, two pint down already! Forgot to do the lemon/green tea but will have some throughout the day.

Got a last minute nanny booking for this weekend so I'm not at home but have sorted low carb meals for lunch and dinner. Had a healthy breakfast of scrambled eggs.

Child is still asleep so will go off and do a mini facial on myself and take the time to apply makeup properly before I go out. May also tackle my hooves with the s&g file.

renaldo · 15/09/2012 09:44

Lying in the bath having body brushed first - what u might call a soft start. Had a plunge in boots yesterday - bet this 100 day challenge is helping their profits!

renaldo · 15/09/2012 09:44

Splurge I meant! Boody iPad

WannaSplitAPineapple · 15/09/2012 09:55

Glad to see everyone's making a start.

I didn't manage the healthy breakfast, but in my defense I found you can now get apple poptarts so I had to try them. I've defuzzed my legs and once I get off here I will dry my hair, put make up on and start on my water consumption. Well providing baby stays asleep. Then tonight I will do my nails, oh that means I have to treat myself to a new nail polish today not that I don't already own 100's

KateByChristmas · 15/09/2012 10:12

Just showed DH the list he said:
What does exfoliate everything mean Hmm I replied not your fanjo or your eyeballs.

He also told me the regular part of the regular hair removal did not mean bi weekly Shock

HelgatheHairy · 15/09/2012 10:18

geekswife thanks for mentioning the acv, I'd almost forgotten it..(love the name by the way, I'm one as well)

Addicted I am taking pregnacare as its s complete vitamin which I know is safe when breast feeding. Well woman is a similar supplement for non pg/bfing.

I am also taking omega 3, 6 and 9 for heart health, hair and skin.

BookFairy · 15/09/2012 11:57

Hi everyone :)

I'm a whole new me already (slight exaggeration maybe!):
I have painted nails
Took my Omega 3 Fish Oil (yuck) this morning
Have drunk 2 pints of water and 1 peppermint tea
Had porridge for breakfast
Have plans to buy flexitol today and give myself a pedicure later
Will not be buying chocolate in the pound shop.

I fear I'm on the edge of a grotty cold that is doing the rounds so I'll also be buying vitamins at boots today. Perhaps Well Woman?

Exercise is my downfall so that's the big one to beat. Any suggestions? I do yoga but find The Gym really intimidating Blush and feel v exposed going for a swim, even though I do like swimming. I know no one is really looking at me but it feels like they are!

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 15/09/2012 12:10

What's the 100 day challenge?

HelgatheHairy · 15/09/2012 12:15

onemore from today there are 100 days to Christmas Eve, some of us have decided to start on a health/beauty routine so as to feel a bit more groomed by the time it comes around. We started a prep thread last week here and today's Day 100 (or day 1 depending on how you look at it.

Checking in.

Started properly a couple of days ago. I had an early night last night, 10pm and was up at sparrows fart this morning. I've had my lemon hot water, healthy breakfast, moisturised all over, taken my vitamin and need to start on drinking plenty of water and will snack on fruit when I'm hungry.

I have gel nails anyway, feet are moisturised and toenails painted, need to shave my legs tomorrow (I can get away with every 3 or 4 days, I'm not very hairy Grin). My hair looks fab and swishy, though I think that's thanks to my new hair dryer and I did body combat at the gym yesterday so resting today.

Waiting for my crest whitening strips to arrive in the post and I'm a bit scared of the body brush, will definitely do it tomorrow. Have had a few days off from exfoliating as we've not long come back from holiday and I don't want to scrub my tan off yet!

Tonight will be a challenge for me - a Saturday night without a whole bottle of wine - eeek!!!

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 15/09/2012 12:57

Ooh, interesting, I do 13 of the 20 already, although only a week or two back did I start with the anti-aging serum, taking vitamins and eating breakfast which is porridge, with banana and cinnamon - find the banana makes it sweet enugh to not need honey or sugar. I cannot stand excercies so will count myself out but will have a look at the other things and might start those too!

theowlworrier · 15/09/2012 13:40

Ok, i know the wholepoint is that it is 100 days to christmas, but anyone mind if I start mibday and join the thread. I go back to work after maternity leave in 3 weeks, so am hoping to look a little more human by then. Will be popping out todayto get all the stuff I need!

theowlworrier · 15/09/2012 13:41

Start Monday that should read. Fat fingers and a touch screen never a good combo...

WhyIRayLiotta · 15/09/2012 13:50

Checking in Smile

So far I have had green tea
Went for a 5k walk (would've run but I had the buggy and it's in a forest so bumpy!)
I also body brushed before shower and exfoliated in shower.
All over moisturised.
Used foot buffer and heel balm.
Oooh and did hair oil (used sweet almond) and let my (long wavy) hair dry naturally too busy to blow dry and it is frizz free and soft Grin

  • all of the above with DD in her walker watching like a hawk!

My only slip up was the healthy breakfast Blush I had toast and peanut butter... But forgot I was supposed to try and cut down on bread!

I also took some 'before' pictures last night. Me in my undies Shock I also took measurements. I really wanna lose my baby belly and eeeek they are a good motivator Sad

Also checking in :)

I do a lot of the list, but need to improve on the following, so here is my list:

2 early nights (before 10pm) each week
More fruit and veg
More exercise, daily stomp on lunchbreak and weekend walks
Less wine! 1 bottle per weekend, unless I'm going out Wink
5 mins on the stepper every weekday morning
Daily omega oil

sillymillyb · 15/09/2012 14:38

Checking in.... to report I've made a right royal mess of the first day!

I started a few days ago but am babysitting my mums foster kids for the weekend, along with my own 6mo who has given up on sleep.... so I am up, showered and moiseterised with swishy morroccony oiled hair....

But thats it!! unless pringles and diet coke at 5am count as a healthy breakfast??

Addicted Im taking pregnacare too, I had some left over from breastfeeding and it really made a difference to my hair and nails. Not sure what I will go onto when the box is finished though.

Running around after the kids prob counts as exercise though - Im knackered!

HelgatheHairy · 15/09/2012 14:42

owl start whenever you want. The 100 day thing is more so that there's a finishing line in sight than a starting line.
