Deluged damp squid or not? And has Peggy been assisted off the mortal coil by Rob yet?
And when will JD and Brian remember Debbie?

And what has happened to Scruff?

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 11/03/2015 17:31

Hello! I don't know anything about Phoebe's surname, but given that Kate and Roy have never been married I think the default would be to give her her mother's name unless Kate wanted otherwise.

Panzee · 11/03/2015 17:32

Don't know if this is on the old thread, but have you seen Grey Gables on Tripadvisor? :o

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 11/03/2015 17:42

Sorry I meant to add: ...which seems very unlikely.

TopazRocks · 11/03/2015 17:50

I've certainly heard her called Tucker. It does make sense she'd be Aldridge as her birth mother was on the scene when she was registered , named etc. But then again she was brought up by a father and a stepmother with a little sister who were all Tucker, so it's possible she just used the name Tucker. In Scotland you can use any surname you like, by just having it become your accepted name - so in a situation like this you would ask everyone to call you Tucker and not Aldridge, and it would become the accepted version. Presumably you have to request a change of birth cert at some point. A friend did this with her two oldest children, in similar situation, but I don't recall all the details. I think it's less simple under English law?

I like the thread title by the way. Smile

LillianGish · 11/03/2015 17:58

Just reading the new thread title - wondering if you shouldn't rechristen Sock Soak?

enochroot · 11/03/2015 18:00

Was that the fastest thread ever? There were so many gems in it that they couldn't all fit into a thread title. Thanks for the new one, pseudo.

I wasn't sure if Roy and Kate were ever married. It was during a time when I listened rarely.

Minimammoth · 11/03/2015 18:01

Tom and Pip would be so wrong in so many ways. I am waiting for Kirsty's return. Will she row up the Am with scruff.

CuttedUpPear · 11/03/2015 18:01

Checking in. I am most disappointed to find that the whole damp debacle is still squidging on.

I had hoped to come back from 8 days' leave to find all behind me. I would have been happy to move on with least said, soonest mended attitude. ...Sad

GypsyFloss · 11/03/2015 18:17

Love the new title. I had posted earlier for soak ATTC one but the ipad clearly ignored my request. Thankyou once again Pseudo.

ZeroFunDame · 11/03/2015 18:59

Excellent title! Thanks Pseudo Flowers(and do you still have a job?)

Wonder what will be washed up the Am into the village this evening.

Bluestocking · 11/03/2015 19:02

Hello you two! I'm very worried by the continuity announcer's statement pre-news. Sad

BitOutOfPractice · 11/03/2015 19:04

Hello!

ZeroFunDame · 11/03/2015 19:05

Missed it. What did s/he say?

Bluestocking · 11/03/2015 19:06

"Linda is devastated."

Shallishanti · 11/03/2015 19:09

poor Linda

Minimammoth · 11/03/2015 19:17

HOORAH for Lillian.

BuildYourOwnSnowman · 11/03/2015 19:19

What happened! My kids won't go to bed!!

BoreOfWhabylon · 11/03/2015 19:19

Yay! For new thread.

Yay! For Lilian

timetosmile · 11/03/2015 19:26

I and my iPad have been banished to another part of the house.
DH, trying to do some work,"I cannot have you in here listening to this guff about Llamas."
Don't say LTB, I think he has a valid point.

ZeroFunDame · 11/03/2015 19:37

Adam delivered straw to Brookfield.
Lynda searched for Scruff
Lilian helped Fallon with clearing up the Bull.
Fallon mentioned getting insurance sorted out. (I'm slightly worried about this now.)
Lilian invited Lynda and Robert to move into the Dower House.
Ruth and David made up and swore a lifelong pledge to defend Brookfield from interlopers. (ish)

Davros · 11/03/2015 19:37

'fraid the RT flagged up the devestated Lynda and sensitive Lilian. Didn't like to say of course ....

R4 · 11/03/2015 19:41

If only David had realised weeks ago. All he had to do was get Ruth some straw for her beloved cows and she'd be wedded to Brookfield and totally forget about HH. And her mother.
Will we ever get told what happened up in Prudhoe when Ruth dropped the bombshell? Did HeatherPet say "never mind, bonnie lass, I'll be fine with you staying down there".

BitOutOfPractice · 11/03/2015 19:54

So the one and only point of the Flood was to reconcile Roooth to the idea of staying?

Timeandtune · 11/03/2015 19:57

Has anyone remembered about Kenton living it up down under on the expectation of his inheritance? Imagine what Jolene would say about her in laws if she were on Mumsnet.
