@M4v3r1ck
Im only just over 5 weeks , il wait another 3 weeks and then call , i hope i make it that far 🙏🙏🙏 xx

M4v3r1ck · 05/06/2021 11:17

So much 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for us! I completely relate and wish we could somehow relax! Even now, I'm not wanting an early scan as I'm sticking my head in the sand and just blindly hoping/praying everything is ok! Does that even make sense! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Surprisingly, we ended up telling our parents and siblings that we're pregnant though - even though it's so early. Just because they kept asking about the vaccine (and I hated lying), and I figured that they'll find out "one way or another" soon - sorry that sounds so negative! 😳 The MMC came out of the blue for everyone at Christmas as people didn't know we were trying, so I feel weirdly relieved they know that I'm pregnant now...

Sorry went on a mad ramble there! Just needed that off my chest!

Thanks @M4v3r1ck for setting up the new chat! Makes complete sense to me to tell people, I'll start doing so if i make it past the 6th week. I'm going the opposite way, was so chilled last time, but now obsessively checking lines every day and booking an early scan and a harmony test from 9 weeks

TTCat39 · 05/06/2021 13:46

Thanks @M4v3r1ck ! And congratulations @MgW1 !! Lovely to see you here. How are you feeling?

I've been trying to be more active this week and have managed a 4km walk each evening with the dog. It takes us just under an hour, with a few hills. I can actually feel it in my legs, and doing it in the evening (when I usually feel most nauseous) has helped to take my mind off it. Fingers crossed I can find more things to help - I've had a couple of wobbles feeling sorry for myself but I'm so lucky to be in this position so snap myself out of it sharpish!

Katiekattty · 05/06/2021 15:12

Thanks for the new thread. I’ve just been shopping, I found a couple pair of much needed maternity shorts. And t-shirts and leggings to tide me over for a while. I don’t think I’m going to enjoy the heat this year.

Are you joining @VixFromThe6ix?

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 05/06/2021 16:03

When did symptoms kick in for you guys? I'm just about 5 weeks and apart from a bit of tiredness and constipation I don't have anything I don't think... Keep taking tests to check I am in fact pregnant !

Katiekattty · 05/06/2021 16:40

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 the morning after my BFP. It’s like my body couldn’t wait to do the morning sickness thing.

MgW1 · 05/06/2021 17:12

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7
I have sore boobs , bit tired and constipation , i think its different with each pregnancy. Is this your first?
Hi @TTCat39
Im doing ok thanks but had previous mc's so not letting myself get too excited just yet. How are you?

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 05/06/2021 17:56

@MgW1 yep trying for first child, one mc at seven weeks. So hoping this one is okay! Just watching line progression really, altho aware that probably doesn't show too much.

Are your symptoms similar to previous?

MgW1 · 05/06/2021 18:30

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7

VixFromThe6ix · 05/06/2021 19:38

@MgW1

Are you joining *@VixFromThe6ix*?
I am here :) just taking it day by day waiting for the ultrasound. How are you??
A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 05/06/2021 19:42

@MgW1 that's so tough x I knew you'd mentioned miscarriages before, but 4 pregnancies in 12 months is very hard.

@VixFromThe6ix how're you doing?

VixFromThe6ix · 05/06/2021 19:49

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I'm good! Haven't tested in weeks lol symptoms are lackluster. Been having so much discomfort in my lower abdomen not sure what to think of it...
How are you doing?

MgW1 · 05/06/2021 19:56

@VixFromThe6ix
Me too , cant do anymore. Got non alcohol prosecco , its a bit sickly!

Katiekattty · 05/06/2021 20:15

@MgW1 I tried that stuff the other it’s gross. I’ll stick to elderflower presse. I tried the seedlip gin and it’s just expensive water 😂

Noodella18 · 05/06/2021 20:28

Hi everyone! I recognise everyone's names already 😀 I got my positive test this week, had a little scare when I bled a bit on period due date, but things seem to have settled down and am having darker lines and maintaining high bbt. I'm 4+3, exactly the same gestation as @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 !

This is my second pregnancy, I have a two year old and found pregnancy bloody awful so although I feel very happy and lucky to be pregnant again I'm slightly dreading it. But first things first, keeping fingers firmly crossed that this little one stays put and there aren't any issues.

Redpanda21 · 05/06/2021 21:17

Can I join?

36 and just got my BFP a couple of days ago at 9dpo. Only 3+3 today - joys of short cycles!

Had a mmc last year - been a tough old year! Hoping this is a sticky one.

MgW1 · 05/06/2021 22:42

@Noodella18
Are you home from camping now ? Hope you had a nice time. Glad spotting settled x

ImpatientTTCer · 06/06/2021 06:48

@MgW1 hello! Yay, you’ve joined us over here! Fingers crossed for you that this one sticks xxx I can only imagine how nervous you must be feeling given what you’ve experienced over the past year.

@Redpanda21 hello and welcome! I’m sorry to hear about the mmc :( let’s hope this one sticks xxx

@Katiekattty haha, I know exactly what you mean....I had a wave of symptoms as soon as I found out, almost as though my body just couldn’t wait to try out morning sickness. Luckily it’s calmed down a bit but I have to graze constantly or I feel travel sick the whole time.

It was far, far too early for me to have ordered it, I’m battling a bit with the idea that I may have jinxed it... but I received my tfl baby on board badge yesterday 😂 which makes it feel a bit more real. (The scan letters don’t have the same effect?!)

We also told parents yesterday as they were all together which is a rare occurrence. I’m only 5-6 weeks so we made it clear it was very very early.....but they were very happy for us, which was so lovely! If something does go wrong then I’ll really want their support, I don’t think I could go through something like that on my own - or even just the two of us. I usually tell everyone everything that’s happening, so it’s very hard for me not to tell all of my friends! (Probably told too many as it is 🙄😂)

How is everyone doing? Xxx

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 06/06/2021 08:18

@ImpatientTTCer I don't think it's too early for your tfl badge, hopefully it'll make people give you a bit of space!

Lovely you told your parents.

@Redpanda21 welcome and congrats.

I'm 17dpo and v v nervously took a weeks indicator and got 2-3 on it, so feeling relieved. Especially given I don't have a lot of symptoms besides being tired

RCF2503x · 06/06/2021 12:19

Hi all, hope its OK to join.

I'm 35 and got my BFP last week at 10DPO. We have been ttc #1 for 14months so feeling very excited but also nervous. I am 4+3 today. Took a CB digital this morning and got a 2-3 which was a relief.
I haven't had too much in the way of symptoms so far. Mainly tiredness and some mild back pain and bloating. Had some nausea afew days after finding out but think that was more due to the shock than an actual symptom!

Hope you are all doing well xx

Katiekattty · 06/06/2021 13:28

Anyone on here not get on with their in laws? I’m dreading the drama of them finding out. Really hoping we move house before they find out.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 06/06/2021 20:36

@RCF2503x hello and congrats, lovely news!

@Katiekattty no mine live in a different country, but they're lovely kind and generous so I'm lucky!

Ooohlalaura · 06/06/2021 21:31

Hi ladies, I’m 35 and recently found out I was pregnant. This will be my first baby although I was pregnant earlier on the year and sadly had an early loss. I’ve been using the Glow/Nurture app forums but it’s predominantly Americans so it will be nice to talk to some UK mums xx
