Woop for new thread. On mega countdown to scan especially with all this cramping. I'm so tempted to just book a private scan. My nerves are killing me.

Hello ladies, can I join you please? I was on the shit place threads last summer but went off the internet for a bit...

Greysar, 29, TTC 20 months and MMC discovered at 12 week scan in Jan 14. Got a positive and 1-2 week on Clearblue digi on Friday, but have only just got together the courage to accept it. DH is massively overexcited and has already told his parents- terrified it'll all come to nothing again.

Very happy to see positive news here and recognise some names- congrats everyone!

Greysar - welcome! I'm sorry for your loss and congratulations on new pregnancy. 2 I'll you opt for an early scan? It's a very scary time but we are all in it together. Most of us are nearing our 12 w scans soonish which is really comforting as good scan news comes trickling in now. We've lost a few a long the way, we are very much a group and it's been hard. Grab a cuppa and settle in X

waves hi ladies thought I'd pop on and mark a place too! Just found out on Friday Grin so v early.
Know you ladies will all have been in the same situation, have tested everyday to 1. Confirm it's real and 2. To see the line getting darker - hopefully!
The dreaded toilet dashes and wiping to check I'm not 'leaking' has me a paranoid wreck! Does it get easier?
Stats 29, TTC #1, bfp on cycle 5, early mc in January 2015

Congrats to all Smile

Congrats yokyil! I would love to say it gets better but at 12 weeks I still knicker watch all the time and constant worry. The good thing is this wonderful group of ladies are amazing support and we are all going through/ have been through the same!

Shall we redo stats for the newbies?

Chasing- 23. 1 dd, mc & ectopic in sept/Nov last year cycle 16, now 12 weeks (tomo) with who we hope to be out 2nd dc caught first month after all clear from Dr.

greysar · 03/05/2015 09:32

Yokyil, I'm peeing on everything in sight (DH slightly weirded out) and on constant knickerwatch too- which is ridiculous, cause I didn't have any bleeding at all last time! Hoping it'll get easier...

Chasing, I've already worked out the earliest I could hope to see a hb on scan and am planning to book ASAP. You guys are giving me hope Smile

Thanks for the new thread Gr33dy here's to it being filled with good news!

Welcome and big congratulations graysar and yokyil Grin

Oh Amy your morning sickness sounds absolutely awful Sad. Hopefully it's reassuring that your little bean is thriving in there, even if it's getting really tedious now. Sending sympathy Flowers. I'm just really nauseous but not actually vomming - nothing that (another) portion of carbs won't fix. I'm going to be so fat by the end of this Wink

Report
Amyyy27 · 03/05/2015 09:39

Ah thanks bristolian nausea can be just as bad too :( I'm hoping it eases by 14 weeks (assuming it's good news on wednesday) as I don't think I can deal with it much longer! I'm gunna go back to bed and hopefully wake up feeling better!

Bristolian, 33, no dc so far, but 7+1 today after 2 MMC last year. I'm another professional knicker-checker and also keep feeling my boobs to check how sore they are (DH has nicknamed them red-hot-lava-boobs).

Report
Yokyil · 03/05/2015 09:48

Haha Bristolian I'm intermittently poking my boobs every half hour - like someone not all there Shock just to check they're still sore.
amyy has your morning sickness been bad since you found out or just kicked in?
Yes gray every day just to make sure it's getting darker - our bathroom is littered with tests Confused

Welcome newbies! I'm sure 11+1. I had a scan at 6+6 And saw a hb. Haven't had much sickness at all. Odd nausea now and then. I have my scan at 12+3 and I'm getting so worries. Not long to go now though. We've only told 1 friend. Parents or family don't know yet. Had a mc in Sept 2013 and didn't try again for a while. DH is getting so excited now which makes me even more nervous!
