Namechanged for obvious reasons. sad

My minge is itching like buggery. No discharge/whiffiness, just a very itchy vulva (as per namechange wink) Have done a Caneten pessary on saturday and been applying the cream but nothing is working.

Suggestions please? And don't say "wash yer minge" wink

Pascha Mon 16-Jan-12 13:02:01

Scratch it?

BupcakesandCunting Mon 16-Jan-12 13:02:21

VAGINE? Double oh shit.

BupcakesandCunting Mon 16-Jan-12 13:02:42

Oh man, if I scratch it, it makes it worse.

Poledra Mon 16-Jan-12 13:02:59

'Zat you, Bupcaks? <innocent>

Namechange didn't work then grin

Tea tree oil works well- sprinkle a few drops on knicks- or dilute and wipe vag

TobyLeWolef Mon 16-Jan-12 13:03:39

Herpes.

<gavel>

There's already a Bupcakes hmm

Oh what a spectacular namechange fail

bless you Bups.

BupcakesandCunting Mon 16-Jan-12 13:05:06

Namechange should have been "VeryItchyVulva" sad

I do wash my ladygarden with shower gel. I know they say just water but, well, ICK. It just doesn't feel fresh when just washing with water and no I'm not trying to get rid of my natural lady scents, I just feel DUTTY RANK when have only washed my vadge in water.

Tea Tree oil works, but I don't know if it may burn a bit if used neat like that.

I would have a coolish bath with a few drops in, and slosh about a bit.

BupcakesandCunting Mon 16-Jan-12 13:05:55

Oh yes tea tree oil., Got some of that. Do I just sprinkle it on me flaps?

SarahStratton Mon 16-Jan-12 13:05:59

I use Johnsons Baby Wash. It's much milder and works for me.

<takes pity>

ArtexMonkey Mon 16-Jan-12 13:06:56

Stop using shower gel on your fannola. Have a porridge bath like for chicken pox. Don't wear skinny jeans or acrylic tights.

AnyFucker Mon 16-Jan-12 13:07:05

grin

I am not laughing at your vagine, btw

I am tres amusant at your namechange fail

I really would not put neat Tea Tree on your flaps grin. Really.

skirmish Mon 16-Jan-12 13:07:58

I sprinkle it on some tissue and dap it on- has a cooling effect for me but I may have a non sensitive vagine grin

"VAGINE? Double oh shit"

you failed at namechanging but you excelled at giving us a laugh. Sorry about your minge. Is thrush likely? Have you been on anti-biotics lately? You probably know about the itch / scratch cycle, if you have been scratching a lot that in itself is enough to make you carry on itching.

SarahStratton Mon 16-Jan-12 13:08:20

Gawd no. <crosses legs>

It will sting like buggery and MrCunting will think he's gone to the vets.

HellonHeels Mon 16-Jan-12 13:09:05

FFS stop with the shower gel! Shower gel makes my 'normal' skin dry itchy and scabby god knows what it's doing to your vag.

I know what you mean about not feeling OK with just water. Plain unscented soap would be better and be careful to rinse it off properly.

Pascha Mon 16-Jan-12 13:09:43

Oh go on, put neat tea tree oil on. And report back under your usual name smile. Actually I do think the porridge bath is a good idea, though don't actually make porridge with it.

birdsofshoreandsea Mon 16-Jan-12 13:09:50

you know I actually really like the word vagine. It sounds french and mysterious. I think you should go to the doctor and mutter huskily "I have a problem with my vagine."

Stop washing your bits with soap of any kind. Wash the rest of you with shower gel and let your bits get clean with water and whatever bubbles happen to fall down. It's a (mostly) self cleaning area. Obviously not advocating leaving it to skank away but you know what I mean.

Could also try natural yogurt. Any possibility of having threadworms? cos apparently lots of women think they have thrush and it's actually worms that have crawled into other places <boak>
