Good morning! Already seen that there are some good losses, even for those in the dreaded week 3 Grin

Come and confess all on the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness

I love this point in Bootcamp. It's such a leap of faith for so many people when they first start low carbing, because it seems so strange to eat all the fat we're told to eat. But then when the scales show the result, I love it!

Ffs just posted a big post and it didn't post Angry
Anyway, 5lbs off. Thanks BIWI!

craftykits · 26/01/2015 07:40

Here here BWIW....you might see my post on the other thread - won't repeat it again here and bore you all silly but I agree. This seems to suit me because although I give up sweet things pretty much (not good for me anyway), I've been eating the things I love and making the things I eat properly tasty. It's always a double whammy when you have bland food, not a lot of it and feel really like you're being deprived - takes all the pleasure out of it.

Fatstacks · 26/01/2015 07:41

Good Morning fellow campers!

2lb off (at 5 am my lightest time Smile)

I'm very happy with that.

I've had plenty of dairy too so, although I missed sweet things, the savoury has been plentiful.

Well done everyone for making it to the end of the week Grin
B. Eggs and ham.
L. Salad with Chicken.
D. Fish.

Have a good un Smile

MrsKoala · 26/01/2015 07:43

Morning all. I have lost 5lb. But diet cheating bastard DH has lost 9lbs!!!! Anyway, i feel good about my loss. onwards and downwards. :)

Amaxapax · 26/01/2015 07:44

I'm a bit deflated. I weighed on Saturday morning and I was two pounds down from last week, but those two pounds are back this morning. I think it's probably hold over from my dinner on Saturday, when I it's likely the sauce had been thickened with something carby. Still, I'm not finding this way of eating difficult and I'm still feeling well, so I'm going to drink lots of water today and weigh again tomorrow with my fingers crossed.

newrecruit · 26/01/2015 07:46

Can I squeeze in a week late?

I've just weighed myself and cried. I've put on a stone over the last 12 months ConfusedShockConfusedShock

Something must be done.

RandomHouseRules · 26/01/2015 07:48

Morning all. I am 2lb down since last Monday. 8 more to go over boot camp I hope. Fingers xd.

Today:
B: cream cheese pancakes with avocado (never made these before, they were a hit with the whole family and Made a welcome change, although I am not sure I ca be bothered with the faff of pancakes very often!)
L: I think will be celeriac, broccoli and swede soup I made yesterday
D: haddock or salmon with veg of some sort.

Off to check out the moussaka recipe for later in the week,

Onwards and downwards everybody!

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 26/01/2015 07:52

Morning, stayed the same as I thought (been back on whole of Jan) BUT have lost 1.5 inches off of waist, so something is happening. That's fine by me.

Apophenia · 26/01/2015 07:57

Morning all! 4lbs down this week! a total of 10lbs since starting three weeks ago. whoop whoop! Grin

Mrsstevejones · 26/01/2015 08:06

I didnt do my weight until the middle of the week and i am 1lb down from that but i think i have actually lost somewhere nearer 6 lbs since new year.

Not really bothered as its just a number and i know its works even if it takes me a week or two to get in the swing.

Hubby didnt get a chance to weigh but i bet it will be in double figures!

Well done everyone

costababe · 26/01/2015 08:07

Just posting on here to stay on the thread, well done all you losers and week three preservers
Down 3lbs and Mr Costa is down 6lbs
Struggling to eat at the moment
Yesterday tried the creamcheese pancakes, unfortunately the only cheese we had was Philly with garlic and fine herbs and the pancakes were bleurgh!
Lunch managed a few cubes of cheese on cucumber slices with a handful of olives
Cooked a roast pork dinner with cabbage, Brussels, green beans and roast potatoes for DS, only managed a slice and a few forkfuls of beans, I just feel full now.

MontserratCaballe · 26/01/2015 08:12

Morning all! I think I am going to be a Tuesday weigher as I don't have to be up at 6 on Mondays, so I get a cup of tea in bed! Shame to have to poddle to the bathroom just to weigh in when I could be sipping tea in bed.

Some great losses here. Fingers crossed I am going to be happy with mine tomorrow. Am not out at all this week so difficult food (and the temptation of a drinik) will be missing. Hurray.

Off for a run after the school drop. Back later.

muffinheaven · 26/01/2015 08:13

Nearly 3lb down - bit disappointed but the last time I did this I lost loads in the first week then got really disheartened when my loss was 1lb or 2lb in following weeks and I never made it to the end so perhaps slow and steady will finally do it for me.
Well done everyone Smile

imustbepatient · 26/01/2015 08:19

Hooray 1.8 kilos down since last Tuesday! And that is with my period due too. I think that is just over 4 pounds but will check for sure when I enter it onto the spreadsheet later.

Thanks Biwi! Finally something that works! GrinGrinGrin

DrDiva · 26/01/2015 08:22

4lbs down! Smile

Montserrat isn't it law that you have to stay in bed on Monday mornings if there is no pressingly urgent reason to get up? like the irrepressibly bright morning toddler from hell

Breakfast was egg, cauli (I am obsessed I tell you, obsessed!) and a bit of chicken from last night's roast.

RatherBeOnThePiste · 26/01/2015 08:31

Morning, fab work Losers!

I'm a Tuesday weigher here, as Mondays are just too bonkers, so will be back in the morn

Laters Brew

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 26/01/2015 08:45

I'm heavier today, but thats why i'm a daily weigher. Lowest weight of the week was 219.8 so i'm going with that one Grin

B - fried egg, mushrooms, bacon

BeyondDoesBootcamp · 26/01/2015 08:47

Oo, and chai tea with cream

glenthebattleostrich · 26/01/2015 08:56

2 off but AFTER arrived today so that won't help.

Not got my usual food cravings though so that's good.

Have a great week everyone

dixiejo · 26/01/2015 09:00

Well done all - there are some fabulous losses here.

Thank you so much BIWI for the the stick and carrot help you give us [not really, carrots are too carby!].

I'm chuffed to report a 6lb loss and DH says I look like I've lost weight. I know it will slow down over the coming weeks but this is a great boost. Like Natural I've taken some measurements so that when the slow down or plateau happens I can (hopefully) see a downward trend. My general routine is:

B - BPC [a reward for doing 30 day shred]
L - usually sliced meat rolled with butter and celery sticks with Philly
D - tonight is salmon with leeks (I add a fishcake and peas for DH)
3+ litres of water

One of the things I love about this WOE is that I don't feel like I'm depriving myself of anything. Rather, I just need to make sure that I ADD certain things to my diet (like fat and water). Also, any time I find myself coveting DH's Wispa Gold of an evening I try and remember to "check myself before I wreck myself".

vdibley · 26/01/2015 09:15

3lbs off this morning, that makes 7lbs since starting a week early. Bit worried about this 'dreaded week 3' talk, I'm 2.1lbs off being 10st something (rather than 11st something) I'd love to get there this week...

Well done all. 2lb down for me.

breakfast is an avocado with oil and salt
lunch will be left over roast pork, crackling, salad, mayo

dinner is going to be salmon steak, probably with chili and garlic and some cauli/veg fried rice

ChesterDrawers · 26/01/2015 09:31

Well done everyone, some great losses Smile

I've not done so well, 0.6lb on. But I went off track on Friday and Saturday and am a long-timer so wasn't expecting that first week whoosh anyway. Back on it as of yesterday and hoping for a downward shift next week.

I can;t update the spreadsheet any more so if anyone has time I am now 159.2. If not I can update it on Wednesday as I can get on a real PC then, so no worries.

ChesterDrawers · 26/01/2015 09:32

Oh yeah, food for the day:

B: eggs, butter
L: Roast chicken (no skin - bleeeuuughh), salad, lots of home-made mayo
D: Beef stroganoff with various veggies in, cauli rice

E: Kettlebells sesh
