Okay, it's not just 30 Day Shred anymore but if you would like to log your daily JM fix and get some tips and tricks from fellow Shredders, step this way.

I'm in, but started early! Am on Shred L1 D4. Just finished the 30 days abs challenge.

Did shred for the first time last year and have been using it and Jillian's BFBM on and off since then.

I may need nagging!

I'm in! I've got a bit of a head start though, finally built up the motivation again and I'm on day 2. Not sure I'm going to be able to move tomorrow...

Bimble what's the 30 day abs like compared to shred? I've got the DVD but it's still in the packet!

Still managing to get the pre-7am Shred in, level 1, day 7 done! Seem to be finding it easier, but I'm going to stick with level 1 til day 10 then move on to level 2 on day 11.

RI30 L1D6 done. Tempted to stay on this level till I can finally do two sets of proper press-ups without the dips getting shallower in the second set! Also I'm scared of L2...

I'm really not going to stick with pre-7 a.m. exercise once the morning start getting darker. It's a struggle now: I love my bed.

Marking my place. Had another unwanted rest day yesterday- dd's 5am starts are killing me without the exercise! Need to get motivated and do it tonight!

BR W1D1. Peasy. I found Body Revolutiojn on Vimeo and thought I would give it a go. It is a 90-day JM program and you use 4 metabolic and one cardio workouts over 30 days before moving on to the next phase. I plan to do 3 cardio days and two metabolic days a week. These early workouts are lovely after the recent rigours of Shred but the cardio does get me sweating well.

DDas working out feels impossible on those really hard young baby days but you do feel superb afterwards.

Marking place - I also had an unplanned rest day yesterday (DS's evening activity took longer than expected and involved Wine). I'll be back to Shred tonight...

Yeah dd is 19 months though so I'm wondering when she's actually going to start sleeping lol. Ds is 3yrs and sleeps like a dream so at least it's just 1!! Between them and work finding motivation to exercise is hard but need to remember it'll be worth it if I feel comfortable enough to get into a swimsuit during our summer holiday!! Determined to do it tonight.

30 Day shred day 3 done Smile

Hi there, I'd like to join please. Am on day 4 of level 1, finding it ok-ish. I do an exercise class two evenings a week which involves high intensity circuit session. I think this is why I'm managing (just about) Although in our circuit session we get a 30 second break every 2 minutes and I'm finding the 'no break' shred very hard! Also we don't use weights, I'm amazed how much harder it is to do simple exercises with even light weights.
I have a jelly belly that I really want to be rid of in the next few weeks. Heading off on hols at end of July and just need to lose a few more pounds and tone up to fit comfortably into my holiday clothes and bikinis.
I'm also trying to not go over 1200 cals a day and logging every morsel that passes my lips on MFP. Actually not much passes my lips, since 1200 cals isn't very many at all!!
Good luck to everyone, and here's to having abs like Anita Smile

On L1D4 and surprising myself how much I love it. I used to regularly do a body conditioning class at the gym and really enjoyed it and Shred is a bit like it. I wish I'd started it ages ago!

Mind you I get half way through and think WHY am I doing this but then you're onto the next exercise and it's fine again. Grin Grin

Welcome macnab and hanbee it's insane isn't it how much happier one feels when one exercises. And I knew it before kids but sort of thought 'too hard' despite feeling wretched about the loss of that idea of myself as a strong body while they were very young. I am amazed by the motivation of some women on this thread who are Shredding with babies under or just over a year old - props to you all. Mind you, I did try that whole Davina type malarkey but found it really alien to the kind of group exercise I had done before which was all circuit training or yoga. Gaw' bless JM for bringing the pain to us via DVD. I do love her in a super saddo way.

Took delivery of the DVD today so starting in the morning.

DS is 20 weeks, and as I understand it, I'm going to be in need of those "props" come Thurs morning, yadah Smile

I did my last day of 30DSL1 this morning. I'm achey and think I need to relax this evening but it's hard to accept that 20 mins exercise is enough iyswim? My brain is telling me I need to do it again this evening. I've been doing the 6w6p workout straight after the shred the past few days but I don't think that's sustainable long term, so I think I'll add that in every two days and then try and have one rest day at the weekend.

Back to it today - 30DS L1D5 done

Report
ddas · 01/07/2014 21:07

Got myself motivated and 30ds L1D5 done.
Can't remember who said it but even though was tired before i did it, doing it felt good and although pretty knackered now it's a good tired if that makes any sense. It's taken for dd to get to 19 months before I've felt ready to take on exercise. Well done tango on 20 wks !
Think it's shadow who has experience with diastasis- with L2 & 3 any idea if any exercises to avoid like the bicycle crunch on L1?

L1 D5 done, with 2kg weights for the strength exercises and mixture of 1kg and 0.5kg weights for the cardio exercises.

Going to switch up to L2 tomorrow, as doesn't feel like I'm fully exerting myself on L1 (not a stealth boast!).

Am missing my abs challenge, think I'm going to have to throw in some extra abs work to keep myself going!

Fuckalella!
Sorry I didn't get back to you last night. The abs challenge I did in June was this one
30dayfitnesschallenges.com/30-day-abs-challenge/
Not a Jillian one.
Was good though - I'd recommend it.

Thanks Bimble! I confused it with 6 wk 6 pack. Think I'll give it a go, determined to get rid of my saggy tum for once and for all, been making excuses for too long.

Good luck with level 2!
