I need to have someone to do this with, I tried it once and got to day 3 but then gave up. Please join me if you want to attempt this with me.

I'll join you. I need to start tonight. Best I did was day 14 and I dropped a dress size doing that and eating carefully.

Lovely to have the company glen, wasn't going to start to Saturday, but perhaps I should start early!? Day 14 sounds really impressive to me, and quite far away! I'm not at all fit and just need someone to kick my arse if I'm doing what I should be doing.

BitchPeas Tue 25-Feb-14 18:13:17

Ohhhh I'll join! Will try and muster up the will power to start tonight.

I got to day 14 last September then forgot about it. Will do it just before I go to bed so I sleep better! Will report back later smile

Happy to wait til Saturday, dh has brought me wine!

GandTnow Tue 25-Feb-14 20:13:14

Ha ha! Also drinking wine and thinking Saturday looks better! Bitch good luck if you do it tonight (you'll make me feel guilty and I'll have to work hard to make up for wine drinking!) smile

Oh no. Whenever I saw a 30DS thread, I always made the excuse that it was too late to start mid-month and that there were already too many people on the thread to keep up. I would quickly, fleetingly and most insincerely resolve to join one at the beginning of the month so I could stop feeling guilty immediately and carry on browsing.

But now here I am. Trapped. grin

I'll start Saturday too.

2014 - 3rd Time lucky....will aim to start before Saturday, excuses in advance will be taking a few days off whilst skiing mid march. Got to D1L3 before then fell off wagon

Great to see some more people joining in, the more there are the more pressure I feel to actually do it this time! Diet I hear ya! Been in the same boat many times. Standing, Level 3! Wow! What's it like? I've never got further than level 1.

BitchPeas Wed 26-Feb-14 11:07:24

Will start Saturday too. Was far to shatterd last night!

tibili Wed 26-Feb-14 11:10:59

I AM IN!!!

I am going to do it, starting Saturday. What's the plan; are we doing it every day? 6 days a week for 5 days? 5 days for 6 weeks?

I have a bridesmaid dress to fit into in nine weeks' time so things are getting rather desperate for me now grin

Bitch you got to day 14 - did you notice any changes in your body etc?

BitchPeas Wed 26-Feb-14 11:22:18

Yes I did then I went on holiday and it all went down hill. I find doing it 5 days over 6 weeks the best. With the two rest says split. Otherwise I find it hard to get back into if I have a whole weekend off!

tibili Wed 26-Feb-14 11:30:47

Good point, no consecutive rest days!

I am going to do it in the mornings before work; I don't like exercising at home in the evenings as DH is always around and I get really self conscious!

So, 5.50am starts it will be (Mon-Fri, obvs I am lying in at the weekends!)

tibili Wed 26-Feb-14 11:34:18

What I don't understand is just how on earth she has managed to come up with a programme that actually sees such results in what, a week or two?!

And if it's so amazing then why can we never ever stick to it haha

MarianneEnjolras Wed 26-Feb-14 11:36:28

Joining. Got to day 10 last time before I came down with a cold and just could not go on. It really doesn't take much to demotivate me unfortunately.

tibili Wed 26-Feb-14 12:16:51

Marianne, day 10 is still further than I've ever managed! Did you see any changes in your shape etc by then?!

Me, me, me! Can I join too?

I'm sick of being wobbly!
I did the shred 3 times before and it really helped but now I've completely fallen off the wagon. Haven't done it since last year blush.

Between Spring/Summer, I lost 6 pounds just by moving house. However, I've piled it back on with a few more extra pounds. I'm 5ft so it's really noticeable.

I never seem to have time but have to find it from somewhere.

MyBabyBlue Wed 26-Feb-14 13:36:39

i really need to join! I have started and stopped a couple of times but was just thinking how I really need to give it another go

MarianneEnjolras Wed 26-Feb-14 14:08:43

My legs were definitely more toned and although i still couldn't do the full push ups, i could do the "easy" version for the whole time instead of doing two and collapsing. So it's worth sticking to. must take my own advice!

GandTnow Wed 26-Feb-14 16:53:57

This is going to be great, glad someone asked about rest days. Also I like the idea of getting up and doing it rather than thinking all day I've got to fit it in before bed. Roll on Saturday!

ErrolTheDragon Wed 26-Feb-14 16:56:41

No, because it's still February! grin - would you like a link put on that one so all the people there pile on over in a couple of days? smile

ErrolTheDragon Wed 26-Feb-14 16:59:04

(sorry, my post was just in relation to the thread title if that wasn't clear...)

TheRaniOfYawn Wed 26-Feb-14 17:02:29

Ok. I'm in.

ErrolTheDragon Wed 26-Feb-14 17:03:20

'why can we never ever stick to it'

You can - and threads like this help. I finished my 3rd time around just before the half-term, and now started my second go at ripped in 30.

Do take rest days - one or two a week. I take the weekend, I find it easier to do the shred/ripped first thing in the morning on schooldays.

Don't be put off if you ache at first - it is normal to wish you lived in a bungalow for the first 3-4 days but after that it eases off and you should start to see/feel the benefit.

MikeLitoris Wed 26-Feb-14 17:05:54

I've got the dvd but I have never made it passed the warm up blush

I'm going on holiday on 12 weeks and it would be nice to not scare evereveryone on the beach this time!

Please help me actually do it this time!
