Hi,

I've been TTC for a year and I'm in my 2nd round of Clomid.

Which dose are you taking? I'm taking 50mg. They monitored me the first cycle and they said I ovulated, but didn't get pregnant, so here we go again.

Right now I'm filling myself with worry, because last month I felt twinges at cd19 and this month at cd20 haven't felt anything yet. Angry

That's great news about ovulating!! I wish I was. I have gone fro 50 mg, to 100mg and now at 150mg on my third round and I am yet to ovulate! I conceived my first child on 50mg first round!! What days are you taking yours?

P.s I didn't feel a thing with my second and got pregnant that cycle too. I owe a lot to clomid....even though my husband says it's of the devil....or maybe he was saying I was!? Lol. :)

Hi ladies can I join please, iv just finished my first cycle and in 2ww but got bad af pains so I think she will show before end of week.

I'm taking 50mg cd2-6 for three cycles and if this don't work I will have to increase to 100mg.

I'm not sure why but my consultant hasn't requested any tests whilst I'm taking the Clomid but iv read lots of ladies have monitoring during the process??

mylittle that's really really encouraging as iv been questioning Clomid and constantly googling 'Clomid success rates' but reading that has made me feel loads better....thank you

Hi ladies!

MissMonkey I hope this af pains you have are implantation! It's a bit odd that they are not even doing a blood test to check if the clomid is working...

mylittle You are the perfect Clomid buddy! It has already worked twice and you are currently taking it (not that I'm rejoycing with the fact that you need Clomid, you know what I mean). I'm sure I'm going to have a lot of questions for you, like for example: Do you think it's possible to ovulate the first round, but not the second Confused?

I'm taking the pills days 2-6. I'm on cd 21 of a 32 days cycle, so I'm declaring the shag-a thon season oficially closed. We are knackered!

How long are your cycles? I think Clomid has made my cycles 2 days longer.

Hi girls!

Yay for Clomid buddies, it's nice to talk to others who are as obsessed as I am!

Missmonkey definitely take hope, I have read that if you ovulate on clomid you have an 80% chance if becoming pregnant within 6 months...the odds are in your favour! Fingers crossed for your 2ww. Let us know!!

Donttell on my clomid note my consultant gave me if says that if your period doesn't come before day 35 of your cycle then it's not a successful cycle. I suppose if you don't get AF before cd35 you won't have ovulated?

I am currently on cd 9....10 tomorrow and I am going for a scan to see if anything is happening down there....I hope so!!

I can't believe that! I am in Northern Ireland, under the Belfast trust. We get free prescriptions here, I wonder if that is why??

Squeakyheart · 07/01/2015 21:40

Posted too soon. I still have the third cycle they prescribed in a drawer so if they say no on Monday will probably use these but can't remember what days I was to take it on does 2-7 sound right?

Morning ladies,

Still no af so I hope your all right.

squeaky iv read a lot either take cd2-6 or cd3-7, I hope you don't have to battle though and they give you another supply, fingers crossed for you.

thunder my GP told me I would have to pay for everything as my oh already has a son but at my hospital appointments they haven't mentioned me paying for any of the Clomid so it probably does depend on your catchment area.

Hope your scan went well mylittle

Have a good day ladies

It's true thunder, you shouldn't have to battle for help when you have to battle to get pregnant!! I hope you get some answers soon.

Squeaky, my consultant advises days 1-5. I got pregnant with my son and daughter on 2-6. I like to take it as early as possible.

GREAT NEWS ladies, I am so excited. I had a dominant follicle on each side, one at 19 and the other 13. The consultant reckons I should ovulate in the next couple of days. Lots of prayers are being said!

Have a great day xx

Morning ladies,

I tested negative this morning so fingers x for 2nd month. I just hate the waiting between knowing your not pregnant and af coming.... Hurry up so I can start again next cycle.

That's fantastic news mylittle! Go get busy and lots of raised legs.

Hope you have a lovely break donttellmetorelax

Miss monkey sorry about your BFN! I totally agree, I hate the 'wasted time' in between everything else. Onwards and upwards to 100mg!! Lol.

Well I am CD 12. I have felt full and bloated, but no real ovulation pain that I can say I have def ovulated. Maybe it is still to come. Who knows!? I just wish I could focus on something else rather than ttc 24-7 and worrying that I've missed it etc.

I am determined to switch off and enjoy the two week wait this cycle, the fact that I won't be able to do anything to effect the outcome will be a bit of a break.

Morning ladies,

Hope you are all well and having a lovely weekend. So I have just read that when on Clomid it can lengthen your cycles up to 7 days, so looks like I may have even longer to wait. I also read that it dries your CM so it's best to use something like preseed.

Do you use opks? mylittle. as I google far to much I also read that that Clomid can make you ovulate later than usual so you might not of yet but your scan showed you had a really good size follicle so you must of been close.

Hi ladies, I am so glad I have found this thread as I am on Clomid & am talking to my good friend Google far too often!

Squeaky, you were lucky. My Dr told me they are absolutely not allowed to prescribe Clomid unless your BMI is under 30. I had to diet to get mine, which held things up.

I am currently on round 3 of 50mg. I take it days 2-6.

The first month I ov'd right when my app said I should, but then came on on day 23, 4 days early. Last month I didn't ov until about day 17, but still got af at normal time (day 27). This month I am on day 14 & still waitng to ov.

I haven't been monitored at all. My Dr is sending me for a blood test on day 19 this month just to confirm ov. I have been using opk's, but she said the blood test is more reliable.

I have been using Pre seed this month just to try & give the tadpoles a boost!

Fingers crossed for you, mylittle

Hi everyone,

I'm new on here, please may I join you?
I have been ttc #5 for 15 months and I'm currently on my 1st round of clomid 50mg which I take on cd 2-6. I have always caught on my 3rd month with my other pregnancies :(
I had an HSG booked last Thursday to check my tubes were clear and prior to doing the procedure they did a pregnancy test and it was BFP! I have no idea how or why as I had a period 12 days prior and we were told not to have sex following my period untill I had had the hsg test.
Sadly it appears that I caught on my last cycle and what I thought was my period was actually a miscarriage as my hcg levels have dropped. I am now on cd 16 and using opk sticks which appear to be getting darker each day, but not yet had a smiley face.
Would love to make some friends and share this stressful journey.
Anyone caught so soon after a misc or on 1st round of clomid?

Xx
