The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

DulcetMoans · 28/08/2014 20:09

Evening all, hoping for more positive news this thread.

Sorry about your news boozle. My experience was similar to the others - cramping started late evening but weren't that bad. Overnight it woke me up and the majority was gone within an hour or two. I was due to be having the surgical option too, but it just happened. If you start before you get there can you still go to EPU in case you pass out?

For those wondering about the pill and impact on MC - I've never been on the pill and still had one (well two now I guess). I don't think there is necessarily correlation...

Brummiegirl15 · 28/08/2014 20:11

Thanks for new thread DoctorDonna!!

Marmaladecat1 · 28/08/2014 20:17

Oh boozle Sad
Thanks Donna for support and new thread

I already have had the lines
'It all happens for a reason'
'Plenty of women go on to have healthy pregnancies'.
I haven't even finished this one thanks! FFS!

Thanks for your support again ladies, lost without you.

Tranquilitybaby · 28/08/2014 20:34

Hiya I added mine to the old thread. Is that all you need or do I add it again?

MrsBeeBeeBee · 28/08/2014 20:39

Oh Boozle, I hate the idea of you being all on your own there. Is there someone who can come round?

I mc naturally but I had no cramping so can't give you a timescale on that.

Thanks for new thread Donna

broodylicious · 28/08/2014 21:25

Thanks for the new thread donna.

My stats are Broodylicious, 35, ttc dc2 (but not actively as we've just moved house so other things on the go). DD is 2y 4m and a bundle of beautifulness and currently snot

Hope26 · 28/08/2014 21:42

I am so upset reading all the recent mc's. Boozle, allthefours, dulcet, words cannot express how sad I feel. It's such a crap experience and no one should go through this. you are all in my prayers.

To all the newbies, sorry you find yourself here. the support is great and I hope your stay here is very short.

Stats: 27, ttc1 mmc at 16w in april 2014, it was a boy :(, trisomy 13, went on to try and conceive after first AF after MC in July, bfp in July. waiting for 12w scan, bricking it.

it has been a crappy week for many of you. Thinking of you x

Hope26 · 28/08/2014 21:51

Marm I hope you get good news, thinking of you x

Allthefours · 28/08/2014 22:11

Just wanted to say thank you for all your kind words. It's strange that an anonymous forum provides so much support. We've told no one of my latest miscarriage, almost feels like I have to bottle it all up and pretend to the world that it hasn't happened when inside I'm broken.

Big hugs to those who are going through the same thing. Life is cruel and one miscarriage is bad enough but more than one is just plain unfair.

Lauren - I really hope your bean continues to stick, it's so reassuring to hear of good news and hopefully a happy ending despite a rocky start.

My stats for the thread:
Allthefours, 40, TTC since Oct 2012
MMC - June 2014 (12 weeks)
MC - August 2014 (5+5 weeks)

EnglishGirlsReturned · 28/08/2014 22:14

Lauren82000 · 28/08/2014 22:20

Allthefours I never told anyone about my second one, I had a really strange and awkward conversation with my mum about the first one and it really put me off telling her again. Nobody really knows about this bean either a few people at work but no family.
Because mine were so early I found it easier to brush it to the back of my mind n just tell myself it's just a period. Prob haven't dealt with the loss in a healthy way but my mind is pretty good at blocking out things I don't like. I have barely any memory of when I was diagnosed with cancer when I was 22 or the chemotherapy I had to do to get rid of it. It did add to my worries when I had the second mc that the menopause was coming faster than I had anticipated. On average you lose about 10years worth of eggs so my clock is ticking much faster than others my age.
Big hugs to all x

MademoiselleG · 28/08/2014 22:21

Thank you for the new thread! I'm mostly lurking but definitely reading you all. I'm so very sorry to read all the recent sad news. A sorry welcome to the newbies.

My stats:
Mlle, 33, dd 2,5 years old, ttc#2 since December 2013, TFMR at 15 weeks in July 2014

Hoping and praying for better news and gentle days for us all.

MrsConfusion · 28/08/2014 22:32

so sorry to hear the bad news for so many of you - what an awful awful week - holding hands and sending hugs and Thanks to everyone who's in pain or scared or worried or sad. Hope you can find support in RL, and keep ranting here whenever you need. Just knowing you ladies are here and understand has helped so much.

Stats: MrsC, 35 (totally sharing age-fear with all you other 35 year olds!), TTC #2 (DD nearly 2) since Jan 14, MC Aug 14 (D&C). Not very good at the acronyms, sorry.

Just wondering how everyone else's DHs have been? Mine was surprisingly emotional last week but is struggling this week, really moody and cross with DD then angry with himself afterwards - not sure how best to support him other than keep talking and saying it'll get better.

Back to work on Monday, surrounded by pregnancies including one due within a week of my due date. Not sure how I'll hold it together (am boss in big open plan office, not ideal!)

Plan for tomorrow - bake. Likely to be inedible but might help me feel I've achieved something with the day!

Gosh Confusion , do you have to go back to work this soon? You poor thing. I'm so sorry for what you're going through and having someone this close with the same(ish) dd is crap. Really crap! (((Hugs)))

cloudjumper · 28/08/2014 22:46

Marking my place on the new thread - sorry I've been quiet, while some of you are having a tough time, my heart goes out to you!
Struggling at the moment - I should have finished work in the next few weeks to go on mat leave, and I'm really struggling with that. It's not looking as if I'll be pg by my next EDD, either (although by now, I'm thinking it makes no difference whatsoever).

Stats:

cloudjumper: 42, 1 DS (3), TTC #2 since August 2012, 4 MCs - Jan '13 (10 weeks, ERPC), April '13 (8 weeks, natural), August '13 (8 weeks, semi-medical), May '14 (17 weeks, medical). MC3 was trisomy 2, MC4 was trisomy 18.

BlinkAndMiss · 28/08/2014 23:49

Thanks for the new thread Donna.

I'm on my phone so I can't scroll back for names - I'm so sorry for all of you having a hard time. It's so awful and no one deserves to go through this.

I'm grateful for this thread, and for all of you here. I also haven't told anyone about this m/c, I'm so close to my mum but I just can't tell her. I hate being this vulnerable and out of control, I know she'd get emotional about it and then I'd have to give in to my emotions too. It honestly feels like if I admit what's happened then everything will fall apart, I'll fall apart.

My DH is supportive but very 'head-in-the-sand' and factual. I just want to be the same really. I feel like AF will be here very soon, I know I'm going to be upset so I need to get it over with. Bought some HPTs just incase so I know I've jinxed it now Confused.
