Thank you Pepperpots.
I know I'm more of a lurker than a poster at the moment but I do keep checking to see how everyone is doing. We are going away for a break on Thursday so won't be around for the folowing week. Keeping everything crossed for everyone that we'll have some more bfp's soon (which isn't easy when you are trying to pack )
love Ruth

Hi,
I too do more lurking than posting, but as this is a new thread I thought I'd say hello (it always seems like interrupting to post for the first time on an enormous thread!) I've been ttc after a MC in March. I know it's 'only' four months but seems an age - hopeful every month then so upset when af starts. I hate the uncertainty of it all! (Also I'm 40 so worried about clock ticking!) Anyway, just finished AF so lots of BDing to come this month. Although, went to see the GP last week and he said that BDing every other day was too much - and that every three days would be better (something to do with the protein in the sperm fluid?!)

MumtoLaura I know what you mean 'only four months' but it can feel like a lifetime. Just hang on in there and we will all support each other

Well done Pepperpots - a new thread is long overdue.
MumtoLaura, I've never heard that one about once every 3 days - everyone seems to say something different.

Actually Pepperpots I noticed that Mygirllollipop started the last thread and she had the first BFP on it. Maybe you're next in line???

I'm on CD14. I may have ovulated yesterday but I'm not sure - temp rose this morning but I wasn't expecting it this early. Luckily we have been doing the deed so that's the important thing.
You might just be on a weird short cycle.

Just popping in to wish you all lots of luck in ttc. After 4 years of ttc and 2 mc's dh & I now have a gorgeous 14 month old girl. AND surprisingly after one attempt we are 14 weeks pregnant.!!

Just want to say that I also had mad cycles that ranged from 28-37 days so I know exactly how you all feel. Life isn't easy..! Relax and do your best to put it to the back of your mind (I know it's easier said than done) and hopefully this thread won't run so long .

Keep positive..xxx

Hello girls

Thought I'd pop into the new thread and see how you are all doing - feel a bit like I'm spying as I lurk everyday, but don't feel I should really post while I'm not actively TTC.

DH leave has been put off to end of August, which I should have expected, so I very much doubt I'll be fertile then, by my calculations, next AF is due around 27th August . Oh well, not too long after that until November when we can start trying again.

I certainly think 4 months is a long time btw, that's how long DH will have been away when he finally comes home!

Enjoy holiday/break/moving to all those it applies!

Take care all - and let's see some shiny new BFPs on this shiny new thread !

Here's hoping the new thread brings us all luck. I'm off on holiday in 10 days time (will be on hol at ov time), so will enjoy the break (and my birthday I hope), then have an appt at the UCH fertility clinic just after my return.

hello all, I'm still lurking, somehow don#t feel quite at ease yet on the pg after mc thread yet. I had a scan last week, all going well, but the mc makes everything seem less certain...

on ewcm etc, I really recommend the Taking Control of your fertility book by J. Weschler. I was doing the temp and mucous chart just for one month when I got pregnant after my mc in April, and that's after a year of ttc the baby we lost.

good luck to all for relaxed and cool and fruitful bd'ing this month! I've had a new lease of life since the hot weather went, feeling much happier XXX

Hi all. I'm a lurker too on account of having a scarily obsessive personality and I'm trying not to obsess this time around. Or if I do, I want to keep it to myself! I'll be keeping an eye out for BFPs, and hoping for pink lines for us all (and much stickiness thereafter).

Hi ladies
Gosh this thread is quiet lately is it something i said ?
Can someone please tell me if they have ov pains and what they feel like? I thought they were stabby pains but today i have what is like a period pain( you know the one where you just come on?) and now am a little confused. I done an ov stick which shows no surge????? Does anyone use these or are they really a waste of time and money? Any advice would be great
Hope you are all ok xx

pepperpots i used cheap ov sticks from ebay this month (£3 for 10) and it showed i ovd on cd17 so i would say they do work in my experience. i have never used them before and did find them slightly confusing as i got 1 faint line so i took it as i had ovd but it wasnt til 3 days later i got a very thick dark line
