The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (But it does work).

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at every opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Keep acronym-age to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'. Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed.
OV is ovulation - I'm allowed to forget what date I've OVd, feel free to join me on that one!

Bunting is to be put out for any small victory, thread-parties are held regularly and hugs are always welcome! Grin

Once you have your BFP, feel free to hang around and share your wisdom and virtual cocktails with the JSers.

Keep us up to date with gossip!

ooh, did you copy the right graduatees down?
there was an amendment....

signing in by the way!

lastthread here

NervousNelly · 03/02/2011 14:22

Wow kat that's a big word for a new thread!

I hope so too fog. There was a bit of a tradition of the thread "owner" getting up-duffed (hence me selfishly insisting it was my turn!) but sadly not on the last couple :(

But new thread and new vigour! Good luck everyone Grin

nickelthenaughtybutnicefairy · 03/02/2011 14:46

ah, but, Nelly - Reality got upduffed on my thread, and as she's my Wedding Twin, then we can say that it's close enough being me that the tradition has stood! Grin

it shall be your turn.

aquavit · 03/02/2011 15:01

ooh did baby2b get her BFP? I skipped a bit of the thread recently (blardy RL taking over) and must have missed it. Congratulations if so!

and Blush if I've got the wrong end of the peed-on-stick

yes, very good. Lots of storage space for all my shag socks.

Let's hope this thread yields more graduates than the last one!

Got2Dance · 03/02/2011 18:42

Hello. I'm here. Checking in for chatting duties.

First of all, I'm sorry to see Josie go, but totally understand where she's coming from. It is not always the most helpful thing to be so focused on getting pg. I must say, after the trauma of ERTD arriving over the weekend, and then watching my sister going through not-quite-labour, I'm feeling more chilled about things.

Yesterday evening I declared to DH that: I like having money, I like being able to go on holiday wherever we like (not that we do, but that's beside the point), I like my sleep, I like being selfish and doing whatever I like in the evenings, and that actually pregnancy, labour and babies sound like bloody hard work. And with that, I went up to take my clomid!!! Grin Grin

And I have very happily taken my husbands name. I always would have. Partly cos mine was SOOO boring (by telling you it's Smith, it's hardly outting myself!) and his is at least slightly less common. Also I love the fact that I am aligning myself to him and his family too. My surname wasn't my mum's name, and it was always kind of hard at school and stuff.

So - my sister hasn't had it yet. They've sent her home and she'll go in again on Tuesday next week. She was in hospital for over 48 hours!! And nothing. But the baby is obviously not ready to make an appearance yet.

I'm looking after my other niece tomorrow afternoon. She's 12 weeks, so fairly easy at that age. Really looking forward to it.

Thanks for doing the new thread Nelly. It seems nice in here. I'm certianly trying to get my monies worth on this one post!!

Haven't seen GOML around in a while....

to all viroids. Keep up with the shagging!!

deemented · 03/02/2011 20:30

Found you!!

Sorry to hear your leaving us, Josie - we'll be here ready for you when you want to come back though x

Urgh. ERTD is really really awful atm. Haven't ever been this heavy, and a cramping loads. Just want it all to go away.

Got2Dance · 03/02/2011 20:38

Oooo...just found another reason to rejoice in no babies. Our bodies afterwards. Have a look at this thread....think I might not bother TTC!!

babylann · 03/02/2011 20:41

Yeah G2D. Too late for me though. My body is wrecked already so I may as well keep going!

BamBam21 · 03/02/2011 21:07

Hi viroids! Sorry I missed the last couple of days. DS has been having a bit of bother at school, so that has been keeping me
worried occupied.

Foghorn - hope lucky number 7 comes up for you! My lucky number is 12..... Sad Grin

G2D - can't believe you are still waiting! I hope your sis is bearing down up well Grin and that you soon have a beautiful bub to cuddle.

Dee - bugger! (passes some aspirin) May the evil witch begone soon!

PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay · 03/02/2011 22:11

Smells lovely and fresh on this new thead, I'm predicting many BFPs :).

BamBam21 · 03/02/2011 23:00

Hi Practically! I was thinking about you testerday, because aren't you in Australia? The wind is battering us here in sunny Fife, but nothing like a cyclone!

PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay · 03/02/2011 23:19

Hi BamBam. Thank you for thinking of me :). I am in Australia, but Brisbane which is over 1000 miles away from the cyclone (we're in the south east corner of Queensland and it hit up north Queensland). So we had the floods a couple of weeks ago but thankfully all we've gotten from this has been terrible humidity!

DH and I lived in sunny Scotland for a few years so I don't underestimate your windy conditions Grin.

BamBam21 · 03/02/2011 23:27

Ah, glad you are fine though practically. It looked really terrifying. Mind you, the flooding must have been awful too. Poor you.

The wind is really battering the windows in our flat, and my poor wee cat is running about looking terrified! Confused

Smile
PracticallyImperfectInEveryWay · 03/02/2011 23:45

It's awful for some of the small communities that have been ripped apart, especially since they had a devastating cyclone only 5 years ago.

We had some flooding under our carport and DD and I were evacuated on one of the days, but we escaped unscathed so very very lucky considering how many fared.

Hope that your cat is ok! < also with apologies to G2D :)>

excitedLJ · 04/02/2011 07:53

Hi Viroids

Signing in, minus the cape (it's resting coz I'm sure ERTD is coming soon...booooo!!)

7 is my fave number too foghorn and I'll take all the help I can get!

Oh and roll on the weekend - what a bloody boring week I've had!!
