Hello busy Miss Flick goodness you have decked the place out nicely

Glad your course is out of the way! I am feeling OK so far on the higher dose of Clomid; I remember last time it was the glorious deep sleep that I loved the most so I am hoping that will kick in tonight!

Hey Lanky - bring your mistletoe over here and lets get a bottle of something rich and red!

Ariesgirl · 27/09/2010 12:11

Christmas?

LankyLegs · 27/09/2010 12:12

Oooh the mistletoe is working a treat! Garden poor us a glass please... a large one if I may...

LankyLegs · 27/09/2010 12:13

It's looking that way aries humbug hah Hmm

womanlytales · 27/09/2010 12:14

Oooh it's a lovely new thread missflick - Thank you for setting it up and hope this is wonderfully lucky for you and the rest of us gals :) Also good job with getting the course out of the way.
garden Thank you for the information - On both my cycles with and without clomid I had ready to pop follicles that were 'ready to pop' any minute and then didn't for some reason. So I'll try and push for something related to that. IT has been frustrating for me to measure up to 18mm and then nothing. Makes me feel terribly helpless. I too don't want to be on Clomid for longer than necessary -- so really cross everything for this cycle.
FERTD has still not kicked in though I have had a bit more spotting today.
Hi Lanky

LankyLegs · 27/09/2010 12:27

How is everyone?

As cavey mentioned I hope we were all out painting the town red this weekend as the le pub was quiet! Great news cavey about temp drop though - jump on him big time girlfriend!

Ok - we need to cheer everyone up on this new Fred don't we gals. We have all been sat in corner sulking for too long - so I am going to try and practice what I preach and remain positive at all times.

Kkas please don;t stay away - sounds like you are having a fecking awful time, but we are here should you EVER want to come back. And I mean that!

Sorry to garden and aries for you know what - 734hs&(£$&^"£ I really would swear on but might offend big time.

Womanly please please please keep talking to us and stay positive chica - easier said than done.Good that you have garden though -as she seems to know what she is talking about (unlike me)! Hope you get the full blow ERTD in time for scan tomorrow though - fingers crossed.

Garden hope you are feeling more upbeat too Grin

Flick bet you are glad the weekend is over - its crap when you have to work through the weekend as well. Bet you are looking forward to next weekend!

Toria hope you feel more human after the vino and enjoyed Juno - I watched it too - such a great movie.

Waves to everyone else - hope you are all ok! Sorry for my rubbish post.

Weekend was good - feel much better and have a bit of my mojo back! Only wierd thing is I seem to be still spotting on CD11 since ERTD Hmm any ideas? Am a bit worried but its quite light and not red. Must stop googling - is actually a mind-feck tis the bloody internet. Have Friday off so will try and get in to see the GP I think.

gardenpixie · 27/09/2010 12:33

Womanly that definitely sounds like you need some hcg action. Just had another thought too ... on my longer-than-the-Mesozoic-era cycle, I had a scan just before ERTD started (I had had spotting for what seemed like eternity) and it turned out I had a 17.5mm follicle just sitting there. It couldn't do anything because of the LH resistance so had gone all old and useless; and was stopping ERTD from starting.
The consultant gave me what I think must have been progesterone (although I honestly can't remember) to shrink it back down so ERTD could start. Although obviously each shrunk down follicle makes the whole hormone imbalance worse. Another reason they should be giving you hcg shots to get your good sized follicles to pop.

Lanky here's one to get you started. And Aries here's one for you too to forget the horror of impending Christmas ads and songs taking over...

JosieSmith1 · 27/09/2010 13:12

Hi everyone, found new fred!

kkas hope you're ok and that you're back with us soon

Hope you're feeling better too Womanly, you sound like you've just about had enough Sad

I'll have a glass of wine please, I can't eat but I can sure as h**l drink Grin

Tooth better today but still having a bit of difficulty chewing but miles better than over the weekend. No SWI over weekend as I really wasn't up to it, but made up for it this morning Blush but I'm a bit worried about possibly getting pg while I'm on antibiotics, does anyone know if we should miss out this cycle?

LankyLegs · 27/09/2010 13:25

Josie it might be better to just let you body recover from the anti-biotics before you try? Some anit-biotics are ok (I had a similar absess in my gums back in January and the dentist said it was fine) but I think you body will be telling you otherwise.

Hope you feel better!

MissFlick · 27/09/2010 13:25

Yep aries, The Christmas Club is where we all get to make our special announcement on Christmas day that we are pregnant! If we get pregnant this cycle then that would be perfect timing... Get shagging everyone!

slowshow · 27/09/2010 13:46

Hello! I want to join this thread for real now. I'm now married, and not pregnant at the first attempt (though I was hardly expecting to be THAT lucky). How does the list work around here? Do I copy & paste the list and add myself on?

HRHCavey · 27/09/2010 13:57

Just marking my place, be back laters!

Truffkin · 27/09/2010 14:00

Hi Frolickers,

Nice fred you have here Flick, room for another one?

So the hen weekend was good fun but I am feeling less than positive today as ERTD got me yesterday and was a week earlier than expected so not really sure what's going on now. Thought I'd got it sussed timing OVing with SWI but now have no idea. The circumstances weren't great either (in a hotel room with 3 other girls, one of whom had announced her pregnancy the day before, with a hangover and DH at the other end of the country on the stag Confused) and I was totally unprepared so have brought my grump into Monday with me too. Am hoping after a couple of days of moping about I can pick myself up and try again, but this month feels more hopeless than I have before. Annoyingly ((potentially TMI alert)) I've never had spotting and usually have light to medium flow for 3 or 4 days, but ERTD started yesterday quite heavy and bright red straight away with lots of cramping and back ache (normally no side effects of ERTD, lucky me!) and today has reduced to tiny amounts, watery pink and only on wiping (not making it to the pad), with lower back ache and stomach cramps. I think I am broken Sad

Right, on my list of positives today I am adding 'getting shitfaced and staying in a 4-poster bed at a wedding we are going to in 2 weeks time' as if this was "my" month I'd have been the designated driver. I know it's clutching at straws but it's all I've got for now! So enough moaning from me on the brand new fred of positivity, sorry girls but needed to get that out of my system.

Garden good luck with the clomid this month, am really hoping it's sucessful for you.

Womanly everything crossed for some nice juicy follicles and that you get any help you might need with other drugs to hurry them on their way to baby-making.

Josie glad you're on the mend and hope the DH has been looking after you over the weekend.

Lanky glad you had a good weekend and are feeling better. No idea on the spotting I'm afraid but step away from google! We all know that way lies the route to madness.

Flick poor you having to give up your weeklend for work, do you get time off for that this week or is it just extra?

Hi Rie and sorry it wasn't your month. I share your Shock at early Christmas references. I think it was on this thread that we talked about Christmas announcements before, which I had always thought would be a great time to tell people.

KKas so sorry you are feeling down at the moment and I really hope things work out for you and Mr K. Understand you need to take a break but remember we're here when you need us (even if it's just for a rant!)

I think I might have to have a chocolate break this afternoon to feed my mood Biscuit

gardenpixie · 27/09/2010 14:01

Hi Slow congratulations on getting married! Hope you had a wonderful time.

If you tell me your usual cycle length and what day of your cycle you are on today, I'll update the list for you if you want?

And here, have a glass of freshly poured wine

And here's one for Josie to take her mind off her poorly tooth ...

gardenpixie · 27/09/2010 14:04

Hi truffkin sorry for x-posts. And huge boo hiss to FERTD getting you. Really sorry to hear that; although it also sounds like it can't make up its mind whether it is here properly or just thinking about turning up?

Hurrrrrumph to bodies being confusing just at the time we need them to be straightforward.

Go on, have a glass ...

Truffkin · 27/09/2010 14:10

Thanks for that Garden the wine is definitely making my effing stupid reproductive system feel easier to handle. (ERTD arriving yesterday makes this last cycle only 26 days when my shortest prior to that was 33 - Confused) more wine please semi naked Beckham loolalike barman

Welcome Slow and congrats on the nuptials. Hope you aren't here long (I mean this nicely Wink) and that you have beginners luck!

LankyLegs · 27/09/2010 14:28

Truff sorry ERTD got you as well this month - tis shite isn't it? I will keep you watered in the corner whilst you are nursing wounds my dear - don't you worry. Like you said - good to have these short term things to look forward to in the horizon, makes it all the more bearable. How long have you been off contraception? My cycles are generally 28 days but do have the odd one that likes to feck with my head and throw out any ryme and reason - tis quite normal sadly.

Yello slowshow hope you had an amazing
wedding and honeymoon! And second Truff hope you are here for a flying visit and not a long stop at all.

JosieSmith1 · 27/09/2010 14:35

Sorry ERTD got you Truff. DH has been an absolute star all weekend, despite having man flu Grin He's even held my head while I swilled mouthwash so my neck didn't hurt Blush. I have to admit he's always been fantastic when I'm ill. The house is in a disgraceful mess, which just proved to him how much I do in the house! Anyway he's tidying it after work today Grin

Thanks for the wine Garden but just remembered I'll have to refuse it as I have been warned countless times not to drink on these antibiotics, and for 4 days after, so that's drinking at my Mam's 60th party (meal out then Ladyboys of Bangkok with the girlies) out of the question!

Thanks Lanky, I feel much better and more, ahem, energetic so to speak Blush, so maybe it'll be ok to SWI? Hmm

slowshow · 27/09/2010 14:37

Very kind of you gardenpixie Grin It's cycle 2 for me, CD8, UCL 25-27. Glass of wine would be perrrfect.

Thanks truffkin for the beginner's luck! Here's hoping...

JosieSmith1 · 27/09/2010 14:50

Hope this doesn't stir up too much trouble - first response tests are apparently BOGOF at Boots.

Hermya321 · 27/09/2010 15:18

I noticed that no one kissed poor Flick, Grin.

Anywoo Slow this is a very very lucky thread and everyone here is lovely and all kinds of fabulous, I hope you enjoy a very brief stop here.

I hope everyone else is well and not too smashed.
