It wasn't just the husband - at least 80 men went along with this. Guys with ordinary lives drawn out of nowhere.

I wonder if it would be better if we were to just wind things up as a species.

It was a man who set that Olympic runner on fire and killed her.
It was allegedly men who set that house on fire in Bradford causing a mother and her three children to die.
Our news cycle is largely a list of the horrible shit men have been up to.

My god. I’ve just read this story. Poor woman. Surely though she must have felt odd when she woke up on a regular basis after being drugged? He’d have had to give her some heavy duty stuff for her not to wake

SOME humans are awful.
Statistically men are more likely to be the problem but there are a few things pretty awful women around too.
They tend to be awful in different ways.

He filmed the daughter as well though I'm not sure how far the abuse went with her. What a tragic thing to go through. It really highlights that no matter how much you think you're safe in your own home, as a woman / girl, you are not.

But I do need to add my voice to those pointing out it was men who did this, not all humans. I don't need to be wiped from the earth as I'm 100% confident I'm incapable of such evil.

When men are unchecked they destroy

It’s not enough for them to just shrug their shoulders and think of themselves as ‘good guys’

They have to be proactive in fighting against the evils that the a vast swath of the male population inflicts on women and girls and children and that means challenging ‘blokey’ talk about hurting women etc
