Hello fellow mumsnetters,
Have you downloaded your copy of "The Girl Who Wouldn't Die" yet? It's free on Amazon this week and is currently #1 in the free Kindle charts. If you like a great page turner in the style of Jo Nesbo and Stieg Larsson, this could be for you.
I don't want to spam the list, here, but I wrote the sodding thing and it's FREE and GREAT and a 5* read, according to reviews. Do fill your boots, ladies. Think of it as my little treat for you. Oh, and there's a heroine who could teach Salander a thing or two about being kickass.

It's on Amazon.co.uk. I didn't want to post the actual link because I don't want to get done by admin for spamming. But if you search "The Girl Who Wouldn't Die" in free Kindle, it's right there for zero pence. Have another bash and fill your boots!

Thanks! It's taken about four years from starting the manuscript to seeing it published. When I joined Mumsnetter as a blogger all those years ago, my kids were tiny. Now they're grunting pre-teens. Anyway, hope you lovelies enjoy it in between wiping sticky kid-gobs and mashing food. Sometimes it's nice to read about a character who can get out of the house, stain- and push-chair free...

And thank you very much. Thanks

If you put the link in, PositiveAttitude, definitely not, I would say. If I do, maybe admin will come and batter me. It's free, anyway, so perhaps it's not spamming at all.

Very impressed by you getting to actual number one in the actual main free chart - congratulations!
(And do you have any tips for those of us whose sales rank is sliding despite fab reviews, ratings etc?!)

Thanks so much for this, Mumsnetters! I really hope you enjoy the book and if you do and get a spare minute, it would be fab if you can leave me a little review on Amazon. As for getting it up the free chart, I've just been very lucky that people have RT'd my link on Twitter or shared on Facebook. I already had some great reviews from the paid chart and had appeared on several book blogs with guest posts. I've spent days and days approaching book bloggers and asking them to review. But most of it is word of mouth, TheCountessofFitzdotterel. Good luck with your publishing endeavours!

Thanks, Horrormoanal1 Smile
Actually one thing I am noticing is that you are very positive and enthusiastic about your book and it makes me want to read it! It's very easy to be too self-deprecating, I think!
Your book sounds brilliant and I look forward to reading it.
