CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 23/06/2020 23:31

Thanks not.
Hope you are ok.

WreckTangled · 24/06/2020 06:34

Thanks not. WFH today but planning salad for lunch and chicken burgers for dinner.

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/06/2020 06:49

Sts this morning.
My gym are linking to a private nutrition group. Weight loss. It £20 a month might give it a go

ememem84 · 24/06/2020 07:45

Morning all. Day one of intermittent fasting. Green tea and some water so far. Yummy.

Not2bObvious · 24/06/2020 08:12

Dipping in briefly, having a rough time but I’ll leave it at that - just things that happen in life outside our control & have to be lived through.
Glad you’re all still working on it, been reading along in the background but hadn’t headspace to comment other than set up new thread - didn’t want us to lose our little corner!
I’m tracking and doing a decent job of not eating my feelings. I’m kind of trusting that if I keep to my calories and keep my steps up, it’ll work out in the end.
Was it curvy who wants to go to weigh once a week? That’s what I’m trying for, I say figure the day you’re usually the lightest & make that your weigh in day.
Em I did 16:8 - still do the odd time inadvertently. It can work great, just means you’ve less time to eat so less calories. I thought you were doing great tbh, this might make it easier if it suits you.
life, you still doing RH as well? Is it worth asking for coaching before you fork out? I’m such a tightwad these days, after paying them for nearly 2 years I reckon I know enough about nutrition and I’d say you do too. Now if I could just do it all consistently, I am sticking to calories, just the nutritional content is a bit dubious!
Might check in at the end of the week, see if I get a little loss/gain/maintain

not I was doing fine but then had a wobble the last 2 days. Scales told me I’m 5kg heavier again (so somethings wrong) and I can’t fit into my nice clothes. I look like a potato.

I’m just not happy with my body shape. So am trying to do something about it. Dh is helping. He can see I’m not happy.

WreckTangled · 24/06/2020 09:11

Pilates done. Am meant to be working but need a shower now. Will have a quick one.

I'm really unhappy with how I look right now. Must remember that next time I want to eat a whole chocolate orange.

ememem84 · 24/06/2020 09:32

I went for a sea swim. A very quick sea swim. It was freezing. But joyous. Tide was high. Sun out.

Dh is helping me by doing meal planning and I’m doing the food shop tomorrow.

He’s encouraging me to exercise. And will help me do measurements. (Which I don’t want to do but think I need to so I can see results).

Happierwithouthim · 24/06/2020 11:03

I think we're all struggling a little at the moment.

I joined an online group, haven't watched the Zoom classes yet but it's helping me to focus. I've lost 2lbs, up half and sts, which is alright for me as it's 0.5 each week and I'm not a big loser. It's €30 a month though which is a lot for 2lbs but if it keeps me focused I'm going to continue until I at least move house.

Last week I only had one proper dinner. So this week that had to change and veg was disappearing from my diet too. Made a batch of turkey meatballs mon eve and had mon eve and tues lunchtime, made a batch of chicken curry yesterday and had yesterday eve and will have today lunchtime. So there's a portion of each left in fridge.

Glad your dh is helping you em it's important to have support at home or at least not have an enabler.

My new togs arrived, my neighbour went swimming in the cold and rain yesterday, I'm not keen on this but determined to do it before I move for the exhilaration alone!

not I hope you're ok
life why not!

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 24/06/2020 11:14

Hi all!
My breakfast this morning and over 10,000 steps before 10.
Did the last run of week 5 of c25k, jogged for 20 minutes straight, feeling good about that this morning!
Did some body grooving first thing this morning too.

Yes not, I'm going to be weighing once a week and will be on a Tuesday as that is when I will submit it to my SW consultant.
Not, hope the rough time ends soon, thank you so much of thinking of us when you have other things going on Flowers.

Em, really glad to hear that DH is helping, it can really make a difference when you have support.
Know what you mean by measurements, it is scary, but can give you a clearer idea.

I also don't like my body shape, I haven't for years, so I'm doing this for me, no matter how long it takes!
Just have to keep going!

Have a lovely Wednesday all!x

Dh is a fitness healthy freak!!! He’s the only person I know who has lost weight during this crazy time. And yes he is supportive. Brutally honest but he will help me get there.

He’s said it’ll be difficult but reckons by September I’ll be back where I was pre ds. So that’s good.

I’ve reminded him though that I have had two babies since 2017. And am now using mirena coil which a side effect is weight gain. Not that these are excuses. Just additional factors to consider.

I just want to wear my work trousers without the fear of them splitting!!! Haha!

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 24/06/2020 15:05

Em, sometimes we need people to not pull any punches I think!
Ahh yes the mirena coil, I have that one too, I'm seriously considering getting it removed as I think I'm perimenopausal.
Have my smear booked for next Tuesday so will ask then about it.

Yes having two babies quickly will have an impact, remember though that you are an amazing mumma!

ememem84 · 24/06/2020 16:05

Will do curvy!!

I know my weight/how I look and feel about myself doesn’t impact my mumming ability so I’m doing this purely for me.

Can’t wait to get back into the gym and get whipped into shape by my trainer b

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 24/06/2020 16:18

Good for you Em, I think that is the only way to do it, is for ourselves!

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/06/2020 17:18

I'm off track today and enjoying every single icey creamy calorie

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/06/2020 17:43

Actually in beginning to regret my greed now

WreckTangled · 24/06/2020 18:09

Life we must burn more calories in the heat?! It's been 33° here and I'm sure I've used more calories just by being awake Grin

Happierwithouthim · 24/06/2020 18:21

A colleague brought in leftover birthday cake, I had a slice it was yummy. Everything else I've eaten today was good though and I've had my treat now so dinner and that's it for today.

I consumed quite a lot of a seeded sourdough bread yesterday that didn't go 100% to plan, it's still nice bread it's just more dense than sourdough. Going to adapt my white recipe instead to include seeded wholemeal flour as that recipe is working out for me.

Stayed late at work to get some work done for my volunteer work so I won't have a lot of time to be eating when I get home!!

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/06/2020 20:36

I can't stop drinking either. Must have had about 6l today. Wary of too much. Loads of sugar and shite. 10k steps

ememem84 · 24/06/2020 21:35

Only 5948 steps.

I’m super bloated. Just worked out that the fibre drinks I’ve been taking (fibrogel) to help move things along have the added side effect of bloating. Ffs. No wonder I look like a potato.

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/06/2020 21:41

They need lots of water em as they bulk

lifelongfrugaleer · 24/06/2020 21:41

It's just bloat though

ememem84 · 24/06/2020 22:19

Yeah. Worked that out the hard way!! More water then!!!!

WreckTangled · 25/06/2020 06:59

I'm still 4lb up on what I was a few weeks ago Sad
