Re Juliette and the train situation-absolutely agree what is he like? In some ways it'll be a lesson learned if he does show up and you are not there to make firmer arrangements with his next date-flaky indeed.Gavel.

Placemark.

Having an afternoon watching DW & having a good nosey on OKC. I'm a repulsive old mrs Robertson type, I'm not finding anyone in my age group even remotely attractive. Sad

Oh dear just had a look at the the Rogues Gallery of those 'Most Attracted' to me on POF -(only available to fairer gender guys incase you were wondering) noooooh I am so depressed...it makes Mr Anarcho-Punk (who reckoned he had OCD, ADHD and Tourette's) and my jacket strokin' ex seem appealling

Well snap Snape it seems..

ike snape. I know. I get the same feeling. I look at them and my heart just sinks. I was messaging a reasonable one on pof but he has now been deleted. I've get to get dressed today. I'm watching nonsense. Sometimes I wonder if I'm just to picky.

ike1 · 16/12/2012 15:19

Oh well now Scatty let's face it ...I dont think I am particularly picky but there has to be some sort of line drawn eh?

same here, but I recon thats because men purporting to be my age are actually 8-10 years older!

Catching up.

I had my night out and ended up with unexpected Coffee by the pot Grin I am a Tart.
Gonna call this one Mr Rock n Roll.
My night out was a bit of a mish mash. Promised my sister I would go to a Rock and Roll night (my idea of hell) with her, then meet up with my mates for the rest of the night.
Got slightly hammered at the R&R to make it bearable. They then had a bit where you can dance non R&R. I love to dance, so went for it. This is where MR R&R stepped up to the plate. Fantastic dancer...almost as good as Coffee.
My daughter was away, so skipped meet up with mates, and brought MR R&R back for coffee. Turns out we were at school together, in adjacent classes no less, just never crossed paths. Loads to chat and laugh about, was very natural. He is quite quirky. I like quirky.

Eventually got onto Coffee, the best Coffee yet. Got up late afternoon Blush

He has taken my number. If it happens. It happens. If not for some reason I know it won't leave a bad taste. I just find RL so more honest.

Banta Hope things have improved for you.

I think we'll be ok if we protect ourselves by coming up with a new euphemism for shagging in this threadWink

Re the age adjustments, I'm sure women do it just as much as men do?

Scatty no news as yet. Cuthbert text me that he wasn't feeling great yesterday, nothing since then. But I know he wants to see me again, and am sure it will happen at some point. I'd just prefer that to be sooner rather than later of course!

Hello all, I found you! Juliette love the fish!

Well I had a fab day in town - xmas market, yum food & German "festive" beer and...oh my, hand made ricotta cream filled cannelloni!!! If I had one of those every day I don't think I'd care if I never had Coffee again.

However, never fear, I have found the solution to all our problems! A true prince in only 72 hours: Prince

I emailed Widow on Friday afternoon.
Have not had any response.
A bit deflated - not sure how to read it.

I've just looked at what I wrote - quite happy with it.
When we were knocking around for those five days in Italy, she constantly kept at me to try my hand at writing - I had confessed to an unfulfilled ambition to write a particular biography.

So, I put a fair bit of effort into the email. Tried to make it humorous, newsey and self-deprecating. Aim was to put a smile on her face. No hugs, no kisses, no over-familiarity.

I suppose I feel that just because I am not waiting for a response from some random OD person, that I should have had a response by now.

Bloody women! (that's a joke, ok!)
