I know Bec. When I was pregnant with my dd's, young and naive; mc never even crossed my mind. Now it's the only thing I think about!
Keep telling myself to relax!

Morning! Was wondering where you had got to xxbec, not heard from you for a while on the thread! What's IOL?

Place marking... 33+5 today... according to OH I am very irritable today and apparently being quite unreasonable! Trying to get him off the sofa to do some food shopping... god knows what he will come back with!

Missed the past few days on the other thread... I'll go back and read it all. Hope all ok x

Just quickly read through the last few days

Wow grain triplets!! Congratulations!!!

Alb I'm glad your app was not as bad as you thought and sounds like they know what they are doing in terms of treatment.

Smurf how are you?? I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have such a positive scan... it's not over til it's over. Thinking of you.

purple hope you are getting lots of rest on your mat leave. I keep thinking of moving mine forward but I'm not sure! I get 4 weeks full pay and 2 weeks 90% but if I make it until I'm 38+4 I get an extra two weeks pay... such an incentive but also feels so far away!!

Congrats to those who had positive scans... the first 12 (20!) weeks are just so so hard. Thinking of everyone who is struggling. Xx

Place marking. Never get much chance to keep up on the weekends sorry as I'm always so busy with work.

Sorry your feeling so anxious amy I hope the next few weeks to the 12 week mark pass quickly for you.

25 weeks today, trying to find the motivation to get dressed and go food shopping but a couch/lazy play day with DS seems so much more appealing...

Placemarking on the new thread :)

Thanks ginger and amy for letting me know what to expect at the appt! I think I'm gonna go to my gp if the sickness carries on getting worse.... I've noticed a pattern, when I wake up in the mornings it's bearable but as it gets to afternoon and late evening it gets a lot worse Hmm

Checking in!

Busy weekend here. Theatre and lunch out with DD yesterday and then soft play with dd and our niece this morning. Those coupled with DH freaking out about our build plans for the house yesterday means I am ready for a proper weekend and a nap. Smile

10+6 today and waiting for our harmony test results this coming week.

Oh wow, so many posts and a new thread!

Alb I'm glad you've got a little more peace of mind, that's good

Grain holy macaroni, three? All joking aside your head must be swirling re risks with multiples, gestation, delivery, bloody hell. You're made of steel if you can hold it together and I'm sure you will.

7w 3days here. Tired. So so very tired. Did I mention I was tired? We are on holiday in the Highlands right now and have a ton of visitors to come see DD1 arriving at 4pm. Will need matchsticks to prop open eyezzzzzzzzzz

18+1 and sooo full of cold. Sinuses are just a massive mucus factory. Feel gross and everytime I cough, sneeze or blow my nose I feel like am gonna wee myself. Probably do a bit. Am so sad and feeling so shit about stupid prolapse.

Sorry you're having such a tough time imgonna... what did the dr say about the prolapse? Is there anything they can do? Sorry I don't know much about it.
Hope you're being looked after Flowers

Thanks jpeg, she basically said it might get better after baby is born and to wait and see til then and gave no suggestions of treatment or how to deal with it in the meantime. It's only minor at the moment but am worried it's only going to get worse as bump gets bigger.

Report
oliversmummy26 · 05/03/2017 15:22

Surely there's something they can do now doom or at the very least ease your fears that if it gets worse as baby gets bigger they'll be able to do something?! How worrying for youConfused

I felt a bit rushed out of there to be honest and didn't really get to ask much. She seemed suprised that I was actually right when she examined me, then mentioned something about surgery but I don't need that.
Think I might make another appointment as am freaking out quite a bit and sad that it's going to affect sex life and all sorts.
Don't know if also hormones but am feeling very weepy about it and sorry for myself and get the impression OH is irritated by me being a bit pathetic as an full of cold too.

jpeg28 · 05/03/2017 17:11

I think making another app sounds like a good idea and write down your questions before hand.
Could seeing a specialist physio help? One who specialises in pelvic health?
Your OH needs to be understanding... pregnancy plus hormones plus all this uncertainty would make anyone weepy.

Good idea re writing questions down. I always forget what I want to say when I get infront of drs.
Will have to wait another 3 weeks now pfff!
Though have to see consultant on Tuesday becaus of my prolactinoma so might see if she can answer anything too.
Thanks for the support. Feeling a bit better now though wishing I didn't have work tomorrow.

Hi

Haven't checked in for a long while but lovely to see so many of you getting near your due dates!

I'm 20+3 and going for my anomaly scan on Weds. Against lots of advice, i've had an angelsounds doppler since about 16 weeks, so that has calmed my nerves a lot and means that the scanxiety is much reduced this time. Hopefully all will be well.

Pregnancy is going really smoothly. Other than some pelvic pain when i'm doing a lot of physical activity, i don't feel any different. Looking forward to my still quite little bump popping soon. Quite excting to think that i only have about 15 more Monday mornings before mat leave too Smile

Hi jpeg I'm hanging in there thanks. Feeling very tired and nauseous today. Not sure whether it is pregnancy symptoms or nerves over scan tomorrow. 7 weeks 2 days right now..
Also finding myself in tears over silly little things like TV ads that aren't remotely sad!
Tbh I kinda don't want to go for another scan tomorrow. I feel like I just want to remain oblivious and hope that everything's OK. but I know I do need to find out.....
